She's a show stopper. She can sing so beautifully. She's got real Jazz talents and the voice. He's a wonderful father who cares deeply for his daughter. Fixing the strap was priceless. Her saying it's the way the dress is meant to be worn, is funny.

She has very very nice (fantastic) voice timber, but she can't control her voice that well, and breathing and dynamics, and..... If she would work vocal coaches and seriously train she could be a very listenable singer: nature gave her the all tools: timber, rythm, looks and dads connections. Why not to use it?!

Alexa Ray has said that while her father has been supportive of her pursuing a career in music, "he's very cynical about this business." After what he's experienced in the past, I don't blame him. No wonder he told his daughter: "Don't think it's gonna be easy." At least he didn't say: "Please don't do it."
I love her. It must be so difficult to stand on your own with a famous dad like that but she’s amazing!!!
And it can't be too easy to be a little girl growing up with a Super Model for a mother.
I remember watching Billy's concert in Russia when it was televised and when he brought Alexa Ray onstage when he was singing "Uptown Girl". Towards the end of the song, he passed her to Christie, who was in the audience. I think they travelled together a lot while Alexa was young.

She's a great singer in her own right, even if she might not be exactly a household name. I've listened to her for years and really love her voice and she's just gorgeous and also has those beautiful eyes, puppy dog eyes, her dad had when he was young. :) I just LOVED when he tried to pull up her shoulder strap! That is so dad'ish! :) haha

I am usually a critical on who can actually sing a Billy Joel song accurately, because they are usually off key either higher or lower one or two notes, but Alexa nail it on the exact key and tone. It was a pleasure listening to her sing, New York State of Mind.
