Ten Hag needs rest and psychologic assistance. I was an admirer of his work in holland. But the guy is near to a mental breakdown. Totally exhausted. Wild eyed man.

Almost every manager and player stay foot because of money. In Ten Hags case I think its also his mental state. He talks utterly rubbish stuff. But I really believe he genuinly believes in what he is saying, so far is his mind gone because of stress, his mind not wanting to accept he failed. In a few years, when he has come to rest and can think about it distanced from his daily stress, he will understand: I was talking/thinking BS. He is not equipped for the job. Nobody is. ManU is a graveyard for managers. The complete club is disorganised and badly managed for years and years. I don't see Ten Hag as a victim (let me please be a victim with that salary). I see him as an individual who has completely lost his sense of (football) reality. His eyes are bewilderd. Not nice to see a human being in that state. Being so stressed but not quitting because of money and status.
I don't think there's one outstanding candidate out there that fits the following attributes (except Klopp) - serial winner, PL/Big club proven, has a track record of building successive teams and plays an attractive style of football. There's another underlying pre-requisite that your manager should have, fluent in english.

Why do they keep referencing the 'old' United. It's over a decade ago. It's gone. There's been like 6 managers since then about 5/6 failed projects and football has changed during that time as well. Reset expectations from the Ferguson era, that's well gone. This is the level now and it needs to be improved. I don't get why they keep referring to an era which is long gone. Also why is Pardew recommending Mark Robbins, of all people, to take prob the Most difficult managerial role in World football. These lads are being paid as pundits, joke.
Fans and clubs always reflect on the good days, it’s part of being a fan. Liverpool do it for the 80s united for the 90s arsenal for invincibles, and city will look back at this era and the aim will always be to get back to that
Bizarre that you would think that a club and it's fans wouldn't long to get back to the glory days when the football and the standards were second to none. Why would they aspire to anything else?

@@delboy013you're missing the point. Of course fans would like to get back to the glory days. It's pundits, I'm talking about. Still holding the club to the same standard of the 90s and 2000s. When in reality everything has changed dramatically and it's not the same club anymore. The constant comparison to an era which is long gone, is part of the problem. United cannot meet those expectations at the moment moment, so it's time to reset those expectations.

I think he knows and he's just lying. Because there was a change after the first few games of the season where he just started saying things that were the 100% opposite of the truth when they lost. He definitely didn't do that last season when they did lose the occasional game and I think it's just to prevent their being headlines that will impact the players. Where if he says "We were not clinical and focused enough" the headlines the next day will be "Man United Manager Eric Ten Hag throws attackers under the bus blaming them for loss". Whereas if he just completely lies after the game and says "We were entirely in control and could have scored 4 or 5 in the first half" the only headlines they can publish are "Man United boss comes out with strange statements after loss/draw". Or an alternative theory is that being the Man United manager has destroyed his brain and he's actually lost his mind.
