okay, can we just talk about how weird it is that townies get mad whenever you do anything in their house (i.e. sleeping and cooking)? I think that the game should take into account the relationship of the sim and the townie. Once, my sim went back to her parent's house and was stopped from cooking. In reality, my parents wouldn't be disturbed that I was cooking in the house that I grew up in. and i'm just now realizing how ranty that sounds, my apologies

Yes its absolutely ridiculous. I had my sim girl go off to college and move in to the dorm house on campus. And when she went back to home to visit…her hygiene was low so she decided to take a shower! … No her dad did not have the nerve to get upset?! Told her to stop… don’t do that! I was really upset!!… said I bet she won’t be back there to visit lol!

I don’t understand why the Sims doesn’t have a system where you make +10% of whatever the craft costs and get +1% extra for ever level of the skill you have.

I am pretty sure I saw a simmer use a yard sale table to markup prices of crafted goods such as flower arranging and was able to win the make money scenario. Surely you can use the same method with cakes.

Imagine making a retail lot that's two buildings and one sells cakes and the other sells wedding dresses and tuxes. It would be a great way to make money and fit the theme of the world.
Maybe it should also have a lawyer's office and/or family court, just to cover all the bases

Kayla... if you take the cake slices individually from the finished cake, the slices sell for as much as what the whole cake is sold for. While you click on the cake, take piece of cake for inventory... they will keep the slices in their inventory for you to sell
Also, be sure your sims takes a piece instead of grabbing a slice... that way Stanley doesnt eat all the cake before you're ready to sell it. I have used a selling table to place the slices of cake on, then start a yard sale. To make a big profit, sell them at 300%. Good luck!

Wedding cakes might actually work great with the dlc because of how the prices scales, since all the wedding cakes are worth 200 simoleons, with 100 percent mark up you would at least get the 200 as pure profit, if not more depending on the cake

I think this was a missed opportunity to implement maybe a new Wedding Planner career as well as new aspirations and traits. But it does seem like they included a lot of items and the new world seems really nice.
On Simsie's last video there was a comment saying something like "at least if you have a wedding in the new world no one will die cause you don't have any old family members" This ending was just priceless
