@@ju.ice-der-boi Why is it "soulless", is the Bernabeu "Soulless", is the Nou Camp "Soulless", or the Allianz Arena, or the new SoFi Stadium in California, i would have thought the fans make a stadium come alive, and give it its "soul", and with 60,000 people attending every home game, Spurs fans are doing just that. It's so well planned out and in fact, is just a marvel of engineering and planning. It's an absolute MILE ahead of any other stadium in the world. Well, at least when you think of permanent stadia. Qatar did a good job, but half their stadia are going to be disappearing in design terms and were only really temporary buildings in most.

The £1bn / $1.33bn you often see quoted is simply untrue. It's £1bn for the entire Northumberland Park Project, which includes the stadium, shop, college, but also skyscraper apartments, a hotel, pedestrianisation of the high road and various other local amenities. Remarkable
The stadium must make a fortune on match days. Everything is cashless. The average spectator spends a 100 plus quid, and that’s a conservative estimate, times it by 60k spectators/ customers you’re talking 10 million every home game.
