What a wonderful reaction! you are one of the few people who seems aware that while there is joy and memories in this music video, there is also sadness. Dimash tries so hard to not be a disappointment to his parents, his people, his Dears, himself, his music, and God. It is obvious in this video that he is afraid of letting everyone down. He has such a complex personality, he is a very unexpected international superstar! Thank you so much for your reaction.
Exactly, I've felt the same, but my perception of it was discarded by other Dears who didn't agree that there was sadness in it. Some people are just so afraid of being confronted with sadness that they avoid it. But this sadness is deep and real and beautiful. It needs to be acknowledged otherwise we are just all ignoring his feelings and his doubts, his sharing, his humanness.
Actually, I bawled during the whole video, unable to even read the captions, the first 40 to 50 times I listened to this video. I was wondering what was wrong with me but it is reassuring that some others felt the sadness too.🥰🇨🇦

Dimash is quite low key, you never know which big names in the music industry that he encountered and met until he shares the moments. He is already the legend for the voice textbook! Of course with his big name and his talents and achievements , he already met many giants in the industry! He is the definition of worldwide international vocalist who really rocks many countries with his voice ! While many good singers and vocalists nowadays start in American then automatically they are known in many countries.
It's great to see you back reacting to Dimash. Yes that was David Foster at the end from a couple of months ago when Dimash, David Foster and Walter Afanasieff were having lunch at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge. Dimash was living in Los Angeles until the death of his grandfather back in June when he flew back to Kazakhstan for the funeral. He has a house in LA now so I'm sure he will be heading back there shortly now the official mourning period is up.

Òmir means „Life“. It’s such a beautiful and touching video. The lyrics are gorgeous and deep and Dimash speaks from his heart and soul. I cry every time I see this video, not because the video is so sad, but because I keep realizing that Dimash is such a humble person who only expresses gratitude, joy and love for his life so far, but also afraid of disappointing those he loves. Who does that these days? And at that age too? What a great human being. He's worked so hard for it his whole life and despite his success he's remained so down to earth, incredibly nice to everyone and never acts like a star. He always makes us think about our own lives. He made us Dears this song and video for his 29th birthday on May 24th, 2023 as a thank you for the support and love as a gift. Dimash has accomplished so much in the 5 years that I have been watching him everyday. I hated to see the sorrow on his face and in his eyes after his Grandfather passed but he went ahead and did his concert in Malaysia because his Grandfather told him that a man honors his word . Yes, it was David Foster. Dimash temporarily moved to L.A. earlier this year after completing his doctoral studies and dissertation in music. His move was for the purpose of attending the L.A. campus of the New York School of Fine Arts majoring in film directing. He met with quite a few well know music movers and shakers. He wants to make it in the American industry and win a Grammy. I hope he does not compromise himself in achieving that goal as it is a highly corrupt industry and he is far superior to any American musician, though I do greatly admire the music of Avi Kaplan. His beloved Papa/Paternal Grandfather who along with his grandmother raised him to age 10 (A Kazak tradition) passed shortly after this video was released. He has a tender heart, kind, compassionate, giving and merciful heart.

Dimash is absolutely incredible. One of the best voices of all times. I think he is still underrated in America. He should be touring in Canada and in the US and fill in stadiums in my opinion. If I talk about him to friends or family, nobody knows him. This is unfortunate because he should be as popular as great artists like Celine Dion. The first time I watched this, because there was so much going on (movies and reading captions) I didn't fully realize how stunning the song was. Now I like to listen to it without watching the video so I can concentrate fully on the music. Oh, and yes, that was David Foster. Before his grandfather died and while he was in L.A. for a few months, he was apparently working with a few different music producers on some new music. I expert he'll go back to L.A. and continue.
