  • When it's 1am, I just wanted to get off of your computer to go to sleep, and Let's learn Ukrainian uploads what is probably the most useful video, judging by the title, I think "just one more". Low and behold, it's 1h. And now I'm in this weird state between excitement and eagerness to learn and tiredness.

    • @@silentpseudolinguist yes! Recognizing the words you already know is sort of positive motivation (to me, at least). Plus, a little revision will do no harm. I just found a couple of channels teaching arabic this way, with lengthy vocabulary videos. I enjoyed them so much and for inspired to do something similar on this channel as well 😁

  • My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

Animals in children's language, body parts, bodily needs etc. English don't have it but our Slavic languages do. The dictionaries and translators don't count with it. So I watch cartoons for kids and try to learn from here.

My parents sent me to have Ukrainian lessons when I was a child, but it wasn't enough. It is great to learn the language of my relatives via KZhead. It sounds so comforting and familiar, even if I don't understand it.

  • Hello beautiful! Thanks so much for making these videos, they are very useful for learning Ukrainian. I agree with you about having a long video so that you don’t have to restart as often. Many other Ukrainian learning channels are not as clear speaking as you are. It’s loud enough to be honest, I have seen people complaining about that but it can be turned up if they really need to. On request I have is I drive a truck for a living now and I really can mostly utilize the audio and large captions so I really appreciate most aspects of this video. Thanks so much!

    @lrmernorskmedmarieaalen7558@lrmernorskmedmarieaalen7558 Жыл бұрын
    • Б doesn't have a particular meaning here, but combined with Я хотіла, it means I would like to or I would want to buy. Without б "я хотіла купити" just means " I wanted to buy"

  • Thank you so much for the very useful phrases! It is hard to find reliable translations online. Hearing the words being used by a native speaker makes me feel more confident that I know what I’m saying will be right. Please keep the videos like this coming! My only advice would be to maybe add romanized version of the words with the Ukrainian and English. I am still learning the alphabet and seeing the English sounds for the word really helps me out to break down the sounds of the word and say it back.
