    • It takes at least a month for the exam results to come out. If the examiners were to give scores, there would be fraud and cheating. People would easily bribe them to get a high score.

  • Any advice on how to deal with a topic you hardly know anything about yet don't want to give just one sentence as an answer? I could talk hours about the last computer game I played but would be clueless if asked to describe a building or if I like going to a art gallery or so...     • That's because these tests, from my point of view, don't show your actual level of English. I'm pretty sure she was memorizing a wide range of structures and idioms just to pass the exam, that's fair enough, but I think English level should be assessed in other ways. Most speaking texts are based on being creative and making up fake stories about yourself, your hobbies and your family, that's not real! I am not even capable of inventing a story like that about Call of Duty in my mother tongue (Spanish) and I am native, so my grade should be lower.

  • I sincerely ask this question...what if I know nothing about game, video or digital or computer or whatever games? How can I pass the test? I already have limited vocabulary and I have zero interest in games. So, it's gonna be a big deal for me. Besides, the exam fee is so expensive.😞

    • I guess being honest helps. Just tell them that you know nothing about games as you dont play them and they might switch topics and ask something else. I heard this from other teachers. It's all about having a natural conversation like you would with any other person. You don't know something and lack some insights? you either switch topics or make it clear that you don't have much to offer and they would get you.
