Notice how there is always an anticipation and slow build up until loud noises appear. You don't see that slow build up in awful Hollywood horrors. They are unskilled creators and don't know how to perform this trick anymore

You can easily see one coming judging by the camera angle. Waiting to see the girl discover and react in the scene where the unknown is standing behind her was refreshing

  • I've seem a million horror movies that don't scare me, but this was terrifying. Something about the realism of being in a new apartment alone & hearing noises, just gets me. The tension, waiting for something to jump out was good also. True horror lies in the build-up.

  • I usually watch a lot of mainstream horror movies, which prove rather countlessly subpar. But this! Let me tell you the chills down my spine made me pull up my blanket at this heat. Its writers really did a fantastic job at attempting to align the narrative to true spiritual and supernatural phenomena, and only amplified it fictionally in a subtle way. Now the only problem I have is trying to stop binging these short movies and not finding success in it.
