Introducing the Aspen ST designed for short track racing and XC racing in dry, smooth conditions.
The Aspen ST is an ultra-low profile tread that prioritizes speed above all else. It was designed with input from our top XC racers such as Nino Schurter and Kate Courtney.
The Aspen ST is offered in 29 x 2.25 and 29 x 2.40 sizes with our MaxxSpeed rubber compound and EXO sidewall protection. A Team Spec version with our ultralight 170 TPI casing is also available in limited quantities.

Hmmmmmm. This will be a perfect commuter or gravel tire. XC, yeah that too.
Planning to put this on the front with the Crossmark II on the rear 🚴
Finally 😎
Interesting, also make those minion ss in 2.1 and 2.25 size pls I run two 2.3 on my city bike, I wish they were a bit less fat...😅
How much 0-60?
So is it 120TPI or 170TPI? Another video from maxxis stated it was 170...
in short: You wont be able to get your hands on 170 version
Both - 170 TPI is available for a limited time while the 120 TPI version is a permanent addition to our line.
@@MaxxisTiresUSA why is the 170 not permanent?
@@esshoul it's available on their online site right now
@@nyreppin1so they can charge you more
Such a miss that they did not release a 29x2.0 version for the new breed of gravel bikes.
There's a 2.25 version that many athletes have used on gravel bikes.
@@MaxxisTiresUSA and how many gravel bikes have the clearance for a 29x2.2 tire?
I wonder how it compares to the race king protection and thunder burt, which at the moment seems to be the faster tyres on the market
Yes! Good question
Where’s the love for 26 or 27.5?
Nobody races 26 or 27.5 ...
"Must go faster"
eso es para pros, para la gente normal no agarra una mierda eso
Race king is better
Pointless to offer it for wide market - a tiny bit of wet and anyone with this on front tire will sue you for health damages! Why nyou rather dont make front specific tyre such as DHF for XC use with a bit shorter knobs and lighter?
Tires like this were standard for a bit in the 90’s. It just depends on the type of terrain you ride.
i just watched this to hear the marketing BS
