Jorge has some new L236 SWs coming in this month. He also has ALBINO GOLD LASER CORYDORAS... He also has L183 WHITE SEAM STARLIGHTS. The fish come from the UK.. This guy has all the cool fish. I swear. Marcins Facebook is loaded with his list... If you want a fish... they can get it for you.

Hi Tom, If I may say something; I wouldn’t put l236 with L46 because L236 are crazy eaters compared with L46. So for good grow for the L46 I would advice to grow them seperately. Just for helping. Greetz

Hey Tom love the channel! What size HOB filter are you using for your 40B with your Zebras L046
My (8) L046 adults are in a 33 Long, and I have (3) Aquaclear 30 HOB’s on that tank. I do have (4) L046 in a 40B with some L236RB/L236SW, and that tank has a single Aquaclear 70 on it. Both tanks also have a pair of sponge filters.

Have you ever looked into using a 28 or a 50 gallon low boy tank like the frag tank from zoo med? Good footprint for plecos but less water volume to heat, I’m looking at them to be able to go 3 high with my low basement ceilings
What type of Medication process did you do with the L236?
Tell us about your grow out tank for the L046, please. Also about uour feeding regime. I have 13 L046 zebra plecos. 3 are now a year old and the other 10 about 6 months old. I also feed after lights out but never see them out and about. I wonder if feeding during day time won't be better to make them used to coming out during the day...
I feed my plecos at night. For the L046 I mainly feed Repashy Bottom Scratcher, NLS Thera-A, EBO mussel, and Dr Bassleer Regular, Aloe, Garlic and Forte. The grow out tank is quite simple. Just a 40B with two sponge filters and an Aquaclear 70. The Aquaclear has a a large prefilter on the intake. Lots of rock and hides. L046 love to squeeze into tight places. Pool filter sand. Temp 83. TDS 120-150. 50% weekly water changes. Sometimes 2X per week.

How are the L046 doing?
Hey Tom what temp do you keep your tank at for them? I’ve read zebras need to be at 81-89 Fahrenheit and the 236 75-79?
This grow out tank is at 83. My adult zebras are kept at 84. L236 can definitely handle warmer than 79. If you look at the breeding reports in planet catfish, many report breeding them at 86-87 (30-31C). I also know several people keeping this catfish at 82-84F.

Most people say claim around 3 years, however I have heard rumors of them being ready between 2-2.5 years. I believe Malik was saying he had some spawn at a younger age.
