33 Helicopters Emergency Preparedness Fly-In Training Exercise Pasadena California Rose Bowl
April 2024 Police, Fire, Rescue & Medical Agencies Landed at the Rose Bowl for Emergency Preparedness Training. The Event is Hosted Yearly by the Pasadena Police Department's Air Support Unit to promote familiarity with the Rose Bowl Grounds.
The Rose Bowl is designated as a staging area for a large disaster or mass casualty situation. Coordinated landing and takeoff procedures were a key component of the annual disaster response exercise and fly-in.

Man there are a lot of Airbus helicopters, nice to see a few MD 500 series and my favorite is the UH-1V.
Awesome job. The two Riverside County birds are my local ones. The first is a regular patrol airship. The second is their rescue that they use for hoisting and lifting with. They have their own channel Hook-In-Hand. The recently posted a video of them doing a lift of a horse.

They do not advertise this event, it's usually the same week in April on Wednesday. I found out about a week before. When it gets close next year reach out to me. You can just show up and watch, video or take pictures. The only requirement is stay off the lawn.

Looks like the Astar wins the popularity contest No Fire Hawks? Then again a fairly tight area and the 412s were putting out a lot of rotor wash.
Yes I agree with you that the AStar wins hands down, ya very strange no Firehawk and yes the Bell 412's came close to me and a lot of rotor wash for sure.

Did Santa Barbara just receive this from Orange? it has Orange County on the side and FAA still registered to Orange?
