I dunno if you'll ever read this Tom, chances are pretty low, but on the off chance that you do ... I just wanna say a few things. I'm a former soldier, that deployed to Iraq in 2005, that year, i got shot twice, i lost several friends, and a marriage ... i came back and fell into anything that would make me forget about it ... drugs, alcohol, you name it. I damn near died kicking the narcotics, which i did without rehab, because even in the haze of all the bullshit, i could still envision a better life that i wanted for myself ... and just hearing your music, knowing there's someone who struggled like i did, who respect what my friends and i tried to do for this country, and who can see through what our government is trying to do to all of us ... you've earned a life long fan. I don't know what else I can say except "Thank you".

I normally can't stand rap ...but on a road trip with my son, he had this playing while I had my listening choice playing to my earbuds. During a pause in my playlist, I heard Tom's lyrics to 'brainwashed' and popped one earbud out and asked my son who the artist was. He proudly told me and we listened to it all the way home. What Tom is referring to in this song is the whole "divide and conquer" strategy of taking control over the populous. I have been screaming about this for years, long before I ever even heard of Tom MacDonald. We really do live in a zombie apocalypse, but it's not quite what we were expecting, I think. We all exist in some kind of echo chamber, but the problem is that the people he's complaining about in the song don't think that they are in one at all.

My husband is a Veteran and he suffers badly with a broken body, he never complains... but it breaks me that it hurts for him to even carry his children. It’s definitely true. And the thing is is that there are a lot of people who only get news from the MSM. I mean like myself, I didn’t really spend a lot of time on social media or KZhead until 2020. Pretty much the only time I watched a KZhead video was when I was needing to figure out how to do something or whatever. 2020 let me to places and conversations that I didn’t even realize were happening and because of the pandemic I was watching government channels To stay informed. I think its pretty good. I like video colours and green goosebumps font. I think maybe video needed 2nd set piece not just 1 scene. I think "cancelled" had best and most angry rapping with tightest bars. Here bars were good but not great. Some points made in the song couldve been elaborated on more idea wise..
