Power file from angle grinder, angle grinder hack - call as you want! For me, this is a very useful homemade attachment to my angle grinder. What is more important - this attachment was made with minimal tools and without a welder.

  • I WANT ONE! I used to use these in my job as a shipfitter and they were in high demand as there were only a handful to go around, They were called Dynafiles and were air powered. I can find many uses for one and I can make one out of my spare grinder and adapt it to my air grinder. Thanks for a great idea!

  • I watched every other DIY video out there for a "Simple" way to make your own belt sander, and they are all WAY too elaborate & time consuming. Then I watched this one! THIS video is the ONLY project that even comes close to being: 1. Simple (few easy steps) 2. Practical (e.g. - doesn't require arc welder or expensive drill press) 3. Inexpensive (I already have everything except the bearings) 4. Do-able (I actually have the skills to pull this off! 😂) WELL DONE!! 👍 This design for this project is genius! I plan on making mine this weekend! 😀

    • It's a joke I guess. If it is not a joke it may be necessary to clarify that, if you have a sander, you can use it and if you do not have one, you can put the sandpaper on the table and rub the piece against it. When the wise point to the moon the ignorant looks at the finger. If it's just a joke, excuse me.

    • @@Piterworkshop Im trying to teach my dogs to look where i point .. with some success! They seem to not care for the moon at all though. I'm very disappointed they don't howl. That would be something we could have in common but no :(

  • Before buying this sander I would use a rotary sander kzhead.infoUgkx3Pc2vLXfcgM5oIpF1iYcIWyFhHUC-G6v and didn't see the need for a belt sander. Boy was I wrong. this belt sander does the job quickly and gives a professional finish to the wood work.

  • That's awesome, I just happened to have bought two of those Bosch angle grinders some time back just because they were on sale. I didn't particularly have a purpose in mind for them, I already have a Milwaukee that I use most of the time. I now know exactly what to do with one and a good Idea what to do with the other.   • I need to make such a grinder to get into some hard to reach places. I could wrack my brain for a couple of weeks and come up with something, but It wouldn't be this simple, functional or good. And I would get a headache. Plus I would spend all the time for thinking and only use it for a few hours, never to use it again. Thanks for your video and the idea !

    • Get a longer spring for more tension, might work. Or perhaps the shape of the Barrel needs to be more pronounced?
