I have said this my whole life (to make my point clear, my grandpas, my dad, 4 uncles, and now nephews nieces, and great nephews are VETERANS/SERVING NOW), so when I found a sign of it DAMN STRAIGHT I BOUGHT IT!! MY WORDS FOR ALL THAT SEEM TO HAVE FORGOTTEN:. " HOME OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE!". Your music my youngest son and his daughter got me listening to, because my granddaughter when she starts really getting into a song you can tell, SHE CLOSES HER EYES STARTS SWAYING AND PATTING HER CHEST, and yes this is Nana is prejudice but my baby girl has an awesome voice when she wants to, and the majority of your songs I get that work on her little face and she just off in her own little music world and it's so amazing to watch. I was abused as a child and never had much of a childhood having to always be careful of what I said to who. Then my (now dead) husband(I didn't do anything, it's one of those 10 foot tall and bullet proof, NOT, moments). No one there for me and to hear some of your songs that let kids know there are people they can trust if need be somewhere there just wasn't for me, but I didn't cave in kept plugging on now I have two sons five granddaughters two grandsons and a wait and see on the way I wouldn't miss it for anything now but back then I would have if I could have gotten anything this life wouldn't have existed for any of us. I only regret what my son's went through (because of abusive husband/dad). I would love to get a turquoise Ring true turquoise with any shape but mostly hearts because I'm Valentine's kid and that one video of we need you now the guy that's walking with you behind you of the road with that black hat I have looked for one of those for years and have not been able to find one, and now after working all this time how much stupid SSI disability because of my health trying to stay healthy for kids and babies but I just so wish I could have found those two things what I was working and had the money for it. Because this money they give you to try to live on now you're lucky if you make ends meet all month and it sucks bad I would so rather be doing something useful. I won’t lie, when this genre broke out I thought it was a joke but the lyrics don’t lie. These songs should be resonating across America because we are living through the exact verses that these two lyrical geniuses have penned to paper and then laid down on tracks. I literally get chill bumps just listening to these songs and pissed of at the same time, wishing someone would step up and give us 200+ million willing and able American’s a direction in which to channel this pent up / fed up frustration that is eating us from the inside out. 100% truth right there. My kids are finally all grown and I think I taught them well. My grandkids are the ones I am worried for the most. If this shit keeps up with no action against it, they won't stand a chance because they will not know what it is like to be free. As a 56 year old vet, it brings a lump to my throat to listen to these songs knowing I am not alone. Makes me proud that I grew up in rural Illinois and have same values as Adam. 100% truth right there. My kids are finally all grown and I think I taught them well. My grandkids are the ones I am worried for the most.
