Back then, I felt like I NEEDED to make something good or "worth my time" even if I was absolutely rubbish at it, but now that I feel like I'm decent at one or two things, who cares if my other hobbies are 'worth my time'? I'm doing them to have FUN!

I'm listening to your dada's newer albums right now and I really wish for both of you to continue for as long as possible. Also, I think the death cam music in the kit is from "Lies" right? that's my favourite one and now it justifies me dying a bunch, thanks!

  • This father-son relationship with music is pretty sweet, ngl. I'm sure there have been bumps on the road between you two, but hearing this out makes me understand why people do think families are sacred; this intrinsic connection that can only be explained with fond memories... I guess it's why I can't get myself to completely hate my own dad even after everything he did wrong.

  • Being a long time viewer I think it's so incredibly surreal to see your music kit make it into the game, you are the only content creator that keeps me interested in CS:GO even tho I haven't played the game in ages, and your general personality, your way of doing things and your seemingly endless enthusiasm for the nerdiest of details about the game, the engine, and things surrounding it have kept me hooked for all this time. In my mind you were never too big a channel, a somewhat niche in the community, most of the people I talked to when discussing CS:GO content didn't know you, but I enjoyed your content regardless. Seeing how this music kit is so much more than just about you and your contributions to the game but also the story of a father and son creating something they love together is simply amazing. The music is iconic to me, and represents so much not just about CS:GO but the this general energy you have when talking about the topics in your videos. They are an idea, a mindset in a way. It's inspiring to see how far you've come and how true to yourself you've remained over the years and how genuine and wholesome it is you still value the inspiration your father gave you to make music as a kickstart to your whole path to today. I love the kit, and I love your content, both the videos and the music, and I hope you can keep going for much longer because I want to keep watching you and your mad ramblings about a nearly two decade old engine and it's games that have been a part of my childhood just as well.

  • i've been watching your videos for some months and always liked the backgroung music. When the music kit came out i bought it immidiately and turned the volume if every song to the max. i can always feel that sense of nostalgia for something that is recent. When i asked my friends who don't know you to hear it they said they said they didn't like it but i'm not really sure whether they acctually listenned to the music kit or just said that so i would shut up about it. But anyway i think we as 3kliksphilip subscribers have some kind of sentimental binding to those songs as we have listened to them for a while now which is really sad as i think that heading for the source deserves more attention than most other music kits in the game as it doesn't boom your ears off whit loud screaming and also feels like it could acctually be a GAME soundtrack.

And the lesson you try to send here in this one it's incredibly valuable! You have always been such a special youtuber. From the very old first videos, to the Hammer tutorials (which were the best at that time, in my opinion) to where you are now, the journey has been a joy to follow. I remember when you contacted subscribers personally to ask about what content would they like to see back when youtube allowed you to do that and I was so happy and surprised to see that you messaged me. Made me feel important and quite special which is why you'll always have a special place in my youtube heart.

When TF2 began accepting user submissions it didn't took long for stories of how the creators lives where changed to come out. All positive. I wanted to give it a try too but I never learned how to 3D model so it just passed on me. Stuck to making a Super Mario world ROM hack. Long story short, the skills for creating graphics ported extremely well to making a Minecraft texture pack. Hearing about your father's journey to publishing his work is heartwarming. Clearly he's talented, so having all his tracks online is a win for everyone honestly. Hope to see more from both of you and congratulations on the release!

  • I never wanted to buy a music kit, but then yours came out and I bought it, just because this is a really important part of my cs journey.. I used to watch a lot of your videos and still do so from time to time! So thanks for everything :)

  • really great story, thanks for sharing. You often remind me of the humanity in Video Games in a time when games feel very corporate.

  • when you got the songs on spotify it popped into some of the song radios I had running at the time and I saved the radio playlist for atomic amnesia then it got added to a few road trip playlists and during one of the road trips I realized that you made the songs I found out about the other songs and started listening to all of them on shuffle So I don't associate your songs with your content because i didnt pay attention to it during videos but I associate it with hanging out with my friends and family (and cleaning, it's nice to clean to)

  • I've taken a long break of playing csgo but your channel kept me connected the entire time so it's an honor to hear your music in the game!

  • Your music definitely stands up to those who don't have a YT following and the nostalgia effect. I love listening to Audio Crime, and I believe there are multiple tracks on there that haven't been in any of your videos, or at least only in videos before I knew about your channels.

  • Honestly, it's very cool to be on our own nostalgic journey with this music kit. I can attest from playing with friends that haven't seen your videos that their response was... A bit puzzled, as to why someone would use that as a music kit. But my friends who are also longtime viewers absolutely loved when I got MVP and the music played. This is deserved, for how unique and special of an association you have with the CS community. Congratulations, and godspeed with your music making journey!
