Only legislation could stop it, and since most politicians are also in the economy, I dont see it happening. I envy people growing up in the time where freedom, Rock n Roll and honesty and stability were still staples of society. All we can do now is choose freedom for ourselves. I am so grateful I grew up in a world where I had so much freedom. Things seemed to come so easily to me. I worked hard but it was honestly rewarded. I feel very sorry for the young of today. I always pray the world will take a turn for the better. It's been very hard to hope since mid 2020.
Hard work isn’t rewarded you can sacrifice blood sweat and tears. 60+ hours a week of ones life and still be viewed as disposable. Years ago a college student could take a summer job and pay for their whole college tuition. Now one can work 10 years in the field they studied for still paying down the debt. The cost of goods and services have increased exponentially yet my dollar buys less and less requires more time and work to buy something I could have bought at a fraction 50 years ago. The kids from the 50-60-70’s have plundered our world and their greed has raised the cost of living for everyone their mistakes and wreckless behavior along with the false perception they are greater than everyone else is the cause of things we see today. Everything was disposable they didn’t care to think how life would be 50 years from then because they wouldn’t be living it. No care about their children or grandchildren it’s despicable.

Thank god for Joe Rogan... who did an amazing job as an interviewer. He let Elon speak. He didn't talk over him at all. His interview with Elon is one of the best interviews ever recorded.
I felt he did a good job interviewing Elon, but I felt like he was a bit passive aggressive at times. Seemed like he was minimizing elon's struggles. Finally Elon replied, I don't think you would necessarily want to be me. It's like Elon new that Joe perhaps was jealous, like a lot of us, but Elon was reminding him it comes at a price.

But most people tend to dole out credit very rarely - mostly what we get is criticism and that keeps everybody lower in self esteem than they easily could be with more credit being given out.

My guess is that Elon still has existential crisis and he feels that he is too old to be around when people colonize other planets. This is why he is rushing things and creates companies to build things that will help with the colonization. What keeps him going everyday is the fact that he maybe be able to see humans on other planets. That said, i'm a big fan of his and i hope he accomplishes everything he is planning. He is the only person i know of who i can look up to as a "hero". His transfers his excitement about the future and he "unlocked" my childhood imagination once again. I can now dream about the future as i used to as a child. Thanks Elon.

Have fun or try to enable others to have fun. Accomplish what you want. I live in the Bay Area and I want to be a lawyer. I don’t want to do this to make money just to have money. I know the money I will obtain will allow me to do what I want in life. I have fun in school and don’t stress so that way I can enjoy my childhood. Getting back to my original point, don’t worry about stuff like if life is a simulation or being remembered. That won’t affect your life. You might not agree with me and you have a reason to. I’m just a fifteen year old. This is just what always helps me.

And I share his excitement for a future where we did not completly annihilate each other but managed to survive our adolescence and start to spread to other systems or even galaxies. I share his dream and also try to share his optimism. Glad that there are ppl like him. Positive, optimicist, visionaries. I can understand that some ppl worship him or belive he might be a benign alien. He is one charming fellow. Could listen to him for many hours.
