  • The irony that most of these governments were the ones who built these weapons, and handed them over to a bunch of kids and sent them off to war but now, 80 years later, it’s illegal for you to possess any of these items🤦🏻🙄🤫

  • It's kind of messed up that governments seem to have no problem with training and sending soldiers to their deaths, or to see some of the worst things that people are capable of, but if someone owns a gun then they get sent to prison.

    • I agree, but it's also a great way for a dictator to remain in power and to prevent the people from removing them by force! What I think is hilarious - this specific dictator obviously feels so threatened by old rusty weapons found in the ground of WWII battlefields, that he thinks such a law is actually necessary! What a joke! Ban private ownership of automatic weapons if you're so concerned, but to lump these amazing historical finds under the same definition is just sad, not to mention ridiculous!

    • Get a copy of Charlie Chaplin's film: "M. Verdoux". At the end of the film he, M. Verdoux, sums up your sentiment as they prepare him, "dead man walking", to the guillotine. Taking weapons from the people is akin to pulling their teeth. Without teeth you can't bite! Some politicians know how to line their pokects; that's why they are afraid of an armed populace! They, the politicians, want to scrimp on a budget to finance their own agenda. (line their pockets?) That is why George Washington had to remark to congress upon the financing of an American army in peace time: "We'll ask the British to attack only during certain times". Sorry the quote is not exact, but he knew the price of combat readiness.. Americans, please: Be careful tampering with the amendment: regarding the: "right to bear arms". (I know there is a mention of MILITIA in that amendment...) Take a gander at the Swiss government's technique: every male citizen of age and training has his uniform AND WEAPON at home and is required to practice markmansship. An enemy will have trouble to catch them with their pants down. In some Swiss villages, I've been told, the Swiss men need, traditionally, to bring their crossbow, representing their right to vote, to the voting place... How long have Swiss women refused the right to vote? Look that up... Hurrah for Willem Tell, Daniel Boone, and Davy Crockett, and Audie Murphy. Men who knew the price of freedom, and manliness!

History makes it look like the weapons on both sides were great weapons built well and performed well. But these historical people brought out the truth that the German and Russian weapons were not as good as history makes them out to be. They had a lot of flaws and faults and weaknesses. The Russian tea 34 and other things of World War II were not that good.
