  • Thank you so much for this video, it helped me a lot beforehand so it don't break things. I've found a Jura Impressa J9.2 at our recycling park. It was very dirty inside so rebuild the brewer unit and cleaned everything up, only thing to do is replace the stepper motor for the squeeze unit wich switches between the middle spout and the other one. They probably dumped the thing because its too expensive to get it cleaned and repaired knowing how much time i've already spent on it to get it back to its former glory

  • One of the most useful KZhead videos I have watched. Beforehand I spent several hours making assembly mistakes when servicing my Impressa Z9 after getting Error 8. Now it is very clear and we will see what happens when I have reassembled the whole machine. Currently I'm waiting for my local supplier to get some food grade silicone into stock Thank you! • Excellent video - managed to get my E8 apart and back together 10 year old and not serviced but had not been used a great deal - my only comment is the base of default position was not 100% clear in explanation - had to strip and redo to avoid mechanical noise but second attempt and it’s working - thanks for the effort and the help! Saved me £250 at least in service charges

  • Thanks for a concise procedure. I have a few lucky occasions and managed to compare brew groups of older (Xs90) and newer (Ena micro) brew groups. I can see how, perhaps cost savings, affected quality of materials used in these two brew groups. For example, the stainless steel rod of Xs90 stays in pretty perfect condition, but it was severely corroded and etched in a much newer ena micro.

  • Hi! Thsnk you so much for this video! It is by far the most helpful that ive come across. I have an ENA 8, when i put it together and check that it moves through the track fluidly, the piston head (bruhsieb v3 by looks of the exploded parts list i found online) ejects out through the top column . It appears to be fully seated when we first start testing mobility. Is this supposed to happen? How do we know the proper seated position?

  • Hi and firstly…. This helped me so much..thank you very much. Unfortunately, i followed all the steps and my brewing unit moves freely and when i reconnected to my coffee machine, it runs and exactly as it used to. Except… I have same issue i started with…no coffee coming through anymore… ive used a screwdriver to trick the sensors to have a look, and it seems its leaking from the point in which the drain valve meets the lower piston and a load comes out of the wastegate. I really think my drain valve is faulty but i did do something alittle silly when reassembling. So i used the 'revised metal cap' for the drain pin, and it wouldnt sit in the pin properly, so i hammered it which ended up bending the tip very slightly and i have since tried to realign it. It seems ok but does have me a little paranoid that is causing the issue. Other than that, my reassembly was spot on. I tested the movement of the piston in a clockwise motion and it was smooth (which took ages to master but thats because i stumbled on this video so thanks again) Any advice on the above would really be appreciated. As im not sure if i should spend money on another pin, or just get a fully refurbished one. I feel its something very silly thats causing it, which is ashame because ive replaced all the o rings now

    @dodee2556@dodee2556 Жыл бұрын
    • Yes, that happened to me initially too, so I made a separate video on how to do it right kzhead.info/sun/a8exZpSeh4OGdZ8/bejne.html. In that case, I recommend buying a new pin or even a complete drain valve.

    • Thanks for the great words. I personally recommend Jura, DeLonghi, Philips or Saeco. These coffee machines are very easy to repair. But you have to consider that the parts for Jura are a bit expensive and the brewing group cannot be removed. I think the availability of the parts in Austria is not a problem. If you later live in another country, I would check to see if spare parts are available there as well.

  • We've got a Jura Impressa Z9 that tells us "not enough ground coffee" every time we try to make something. After a few tries it will make some weak, watery coffee. I took the entire machine apart, removed and cleaned the brew group, cleaned out the grinder, and put it all back together to the same result. The grinder burrs aren't new, but it is definitely still able to grind extremely fine coffee. Any ideas?

    @ATASupport24@ATASupport24Ай бұрын
    • Hi, even if the grinder burrs still grind finely enough, they should be replaced. The burrs are not able to grind enough coffee powder in the specified time. With new grinder burrs you will notice a big difference.

    @harrykind@harrykind2 жыл бұрын
    • @Harry Kind you have to hold the other two parts together firmly with one hand (min. 4.30) and then push the piston in. If the brewing chamber shifts just one tooth, then everything can no longer be moved easily.

      @yt.myworks@yt.myworks2 жыл бұрын
    • @@yt.myworks Somehow got it working on attempt #17! However, it seems that actually there's something wrong with the encoder. When it initialises on startup, the brew group goes up and down a bit then winds all the way to the top and keeps on trying to go further. It then stops and reports Error 8 still. There's no cog slippage and the large cog can be manually turned nice and smoothly so I'm going to try replacing the encoder unless you happened to have any other suggestions!

    @jabernardibostero@jabernardibostero9 ай бұрын

    • The ENA 9 has a slightly different brew group with a different connection and valve. But other things also have an influence on the taste, such as the pump pressure.
