  • If you could fix/improve one thing in Palworld what would it be? Note: I've seen a few people comment about IVs asking why I didn't cover them here and that's very fair. Honestly, with the state the game is currently in there is so little incentive to hunt for perfect IVs that I felt it was an unnecessary addition. Passive skills make a much more significant difference to overall gameplay and without PVP being fully implemented, perfect IVs are probably overkill to hunt for in addition to perfect passives. I may create an additional short video on IVs at a later date if it becomes more relevant but I'd say most players don't need to add another layer of stress to their checklist for what constitutes a perfect pal in their eyes. Let me know your thoughts, happy to listen! • Awesome video as always, by far the best guides. I would personally like to see an actual command/task terminal where you can assign Pals to tasks and they prioritize that. It would be even better if you could set in order of importance, so that multi skill Pals can be more effective.

    • @@Tonyscasa op will never experience? Don’t you think it’s quite arrogant of you to say that? It’s not good to assume they never tried to experience things for themselves first but just got stuck with some stuff. Or if they don’t have time to play as much as you but still want to enjoy the other aspects of the game with what effort and time they can allot for the game. Even in rl, you’re not expected to know everything for yourself. Having a mentor is not unacceptable. Experience may be the best teacher, but we’ve all had teachers at different points and aspects in our lives. If you want to experience everything for yourself, then good for you. That’s not wrong. Just as how it’s not wrong to seek “advice” in something you want to be better at. Kudos to the op for seeking guides when they need it to elevate their gaming experience based on how they can play. Everyone has different experiences. It’s not your place to invalidate them. It’s not like they’re cheating

  • Kimpton's Palworld Breeding Guide is an absolute godsend for plotting out inter-species breeding paths thanks to their experimental path calculator. They've got me going 2-3 couples deep to move traits over to different species in ways that I never would've been able to figure out on my own. Fair warning, though: Pal names are listed alphabetically instead of being sorted by Pal number.

  • Amazing! Great guide! I like to place my Breeding Farms in clusters of 3. Rotating the 2nd one 90 degrees and the 3rd one 180 degrees, so that they form a triangle and the cake deposit boxes are as close to each other as possible. I like to use wooden floors above where the eggs are laid, and above my storage chests, so I can quickly identify where I need to aim my grapple gun when overweight 🤣 You can align your palbox on a 2x2 foundation square, so that you can surround the 2x2 with triangle walls. This pals can not cross triangle walls, but you can walk through the gaps freely. I find it convenient to setup the cage when summoning pals you want to carry to the Breeding Farms, so they are trapped and can't run from you after you summon them.

  • Great guide, only part I would add about the breeding is that getting your perfect 4 trait pal is much better done with 2 and 2 rather than 3 and 1. Other guides say this, I think the reddit post referenced in the video implied this, and from my own experience it seems better. If a 3 and 1 is all you got then sure you can go for that. I would also stress the point that I think was made, that you really just want one of each trait you want and only those traits. Part of why the 4 and 0 is ideal. So no 3 and 3 with one of the same trait on each parent to be. I suppose depending on your breeding choice, it might be better to try and get your 4 on a lower tier pal that has speedier eggs, then just use blanks from there. Should be more versatile that way too, but might take more steps.

  • I heard that stacking wheat/berry plantations on top of each other is possible, if you make use of some benches. That could help you save on space quite a bit when you have t oplan out the production for those. 1 pile of 5 wheat, 1 pile of 5 berry plantation, and they only take up the place for 1-1 of each, horizontally, while pals can reach all 5 on top of each other. I'd also recommend adding a Wumpo to bases that produce a ton of materials, as they're really nice material delivery experts. Alternatively Helzephyrs, as they work through the nights too.

  • In a pinch for honey, you can put katress in the party for bonus item drops and go to hypocrite hill to slaughter cinnamoths. Also varwyrm crys is a dark ice so it doesn't need to sleep, great for keeping the fridge cool over night. Adter patch if you put multiple campfires together the heat stacks together so no need for heater. Also breed a good stat cryolinx as it's relatively easy to get and can breed most endgame pals

  • Great video! My only complaint is at 19:40-20:02. I would say "breeding up" the traits from common Pals is WAY more efficient(especially if you're not skipping incubation time). Common eggs incubate FAST and the Pals themselves spawn in higher quantities, thus it's easier to hunt for desired traits in the first place. Trying to pray to RNG-esus AND dealing with Rare+ eggs is a big time waster. This is just my anecdote but getting a "perfect" Chikipi or Lamball or Pengullet or Lifmunk and just breeding up with an "empty" Pal with no traits(so 4+0) has worked so incredibly well so consistently that it's been hard to relate to others struggling with breeding their perfect Pals

    @epiccontrolzx2291@epiccontrolzx22913 ай бұрын
    • This is actually a really good point, thank you for this! It's definitely easier to farm traits from pals with faster hatching eggs then transfer them into your desired end pal assuming the steps to get there are reasonably short. For honest playthroughs this is a solid consideration to take into account. Also as they may be passable to more possible end target pals

  • One thing I'd like to touch on is you say going extra steps for pal breeding tends to be less necessary for reaching ideal pals, and that one step is usually all you need. But extra step pals are cery important to get to perfect ones time efficiently. The idea being it's quicker to pass down ideal traits than mutate one breeding out 2/4 traits. This means while it's more a mental headache, trading down all 4 stats into one focal point of your desired pal. E.g. i wanted to get a fast faeris. So i bread down a good beakon into a vanwyrm that had swift into breeding with anubis to get to faeris much faster than getting a 2/4 feries and random breeding for other trait mutations. It just hurts your head but it IS useful. ESPECIALLY FOR LUCKY BREEDING!! Also, breeding a 2 trait pal with the OTHER 2 desired trait pal result in a perfect more often than breeding a perfect with a perfect. It seems like if both pals roll to send down the same trait, the 2nd roll is a guaranteed mutation instead, based on data from a guy who bred hundreds of pals with variations (sorry I'm mobile if people care I'll edit it with his name when i look it back up). This makes keeping 2trait bases important if future breedinf (e.g. for more anubis workhorses) is ever expected, OR to use as bases for future pals (like when you get access to legend or emperor traits lategame) Sorry for rant, been spam watching breeding vids and docs and yours, btw, was my favorite for base optimization, so ty and keep up the great vids ❤

  • 21:00 As an alternative to all this I first find Pals that have the traits I want in viable breeding combinations (male/female and actually able to breed at all). Then I get them with the combo I want. Then I pass this down through 1-3 generations of Pals until it gets to the Pal I want, breed a Male and Female, and then have those two Breed until they create the perfect one (supplemented with the parents I was already using). It requires a lot less eggs I get stuff done in less than 20 usually. From what I've gathered from mine and others' experience, breeding also generally favors stronger traits so that would be why work slave doesn't show up as often. I know, it makes it a bitch, that eluded my Anubis as well. I'll restate it here since I said it in a reply, but breeding also generally favors higher IVs, so once you get two perfect or near perfect Pals for traits, you can then breed down generations. Breed a male and female that have, combined together, the 4 traits you have, and just keep doing that over and over and eventually you will have really high IVs if not perfect.

    @RuneKatashima@RuneKatashima3 ай бұрын
  • one extra step is to level all the perfect-passive pals a few times and check their IVs, keeping any with high IVs for later breeding

  • I would recommend breeding cinnamoths with perfect stats, since they have a lot of combinations for different pals - with direhowl they give petallia (which you can further breed into lyleen), with teafant into verdash, with vanwyrm or bushi into anubis, with bristla or fuack into mozzarina, with tombat or chillet into bushi, with nitewing or sweepa into sibelyx, with cattiva into fenglope, with celeray into univolt, with univolt into Incineram, with cryolinx into Jormuntide, with galeclaw into Foxcicle, with relaxaurus into ragnahawk, ... A few more tips: you want 3 different stat combos for anubis anyways, 1 for battle, 1 for crafting -> workspeed and 1 for mining, which isn't affected by workspeed, so you can use anubis to continue breeding different combos, for example: - anubis with cremis gives felbat, a strong tank type pal which lets you heal when doing damage - anubis with melpaca into rayhound, then rayhound with mossanda (you already need a mossanda for lyleen) into grizzbolt, then grizzbolt with relaxaurus into orserk

    @pega7550@pega75503 ай бұрын
    • I dont think one with mining makes sense. What would you add aside from mining foreman? What helps more is one swift one, which is useful for collecting things. Ultimately tho, I'd just recommend making the worker build have Artisan, lucky, serious(or workaholic), swift.

      @Lebronscome@Lebronscome3 ай бұрын
    • @@Lebronscome the ones with mining would use stats that improve sanity and hunger loss, instead of improving the workspeed. Artisan, work slave and serious are all useless stats for mining ore (same as for the pals in the ranch) -> mining at the stonepit is influenced by workspeed, but mining ores is not so I'd put diet lover, dainty eater, workaholic and swift on the anubis I want to mine with. ^^

What you won't want to do is accidentally use those when trying to go to 2 stars as it will still only count as 1 pal instead of 5 (4 condensed plus the original). If you have limited ranch space you'll probably want to try and level less pals but level them higher, maybe 2 or 3 star. Hope this makes sense and helps

  • 4:18 Grazing Pals don't lose SAN though. The best passives for them would be hunger reduction and movement speed increase (eat and get back to work faster).

  • What’s even worse about that breeding calculator website is that not only are they out of paldeck order, but the order that they DO put them in, as far as I can tell, is RANDOM EVERY TIME YOU OPEN THE PAGE!?!

  • If the stairs are 4 wide by 3 deep by 3 high and they go upstairs just fine. Though some AI seem to give up so occasionally there will be someone not where they should be when sleeping.

  • at 4:41 you mention workaholic, but chikipi, beegarde, mozarina do not benefit from that, grazing on the ranch restores SAN, so it is not needed, go for swift, runner, nimble, legend, diet lover, but for other tasks you are correct.

  • @unclemumble could you do a video on the tier list of pals? I know it would take a lot of work but judging by your production quality it would be the ‘be all end all’ video to palworld :)

  • i built a base at 109, -325 and its NEVER been raided. dont know why, but i sure as hell dont complain. flat land, hardly anything there so it makes a great place for a large main. also its not to very far from starting spawn so that's a nice bonus as well

  • Note:Any Farm animal will generate items once per minute which is set in stone however if you rank up the partner skill the pal can find up to the number of items that its partner skill level is. The Problem is for each item they drop they go through a 6 second animation. This animation is the only thing influenced by Pal work speed and passive skills. This makes a max condensed farm animal only 2.5x better because of the added 30 seconds if they produce 5 items.

  • 22:55 I'm not sure if its a bug, but another video I watched saw that the actual chance seen in game by breeding pals with two of the desired traits each was significantly more likely to hatch a "perfect" pal. In the future, if it's a bug and it's patched, the chart shown at 22:55 might be more accurate than that guys video. He had a sample size of like 300 if I remember correctly, so its not very likely his results are inaccurate. I forget the video so I can't link it, but it saves a lot of hatches so its not worth breeding pals with 3 of the desired traits.

  • I only farm the honey. Set up by one of the areas with 10 ore, turn it all into nails. Capture the traveling merchant at the small village. Use him to sell the nails and buy all the other ingredients. This will outpace 4 breeding farms in cake production. It's also no waste because you can spend the extra money on ammo.

  • After catching all of the legendaries, I looked up a guide for the breeding. Next, I thought about how I've probably put enough time into the game and don't need to get this deep until a big update or something. Now I am following the steps in my own game because I forgot gaming sucks now except for these indie type games.
