  • this cool and all but man i coudnt pass up on nil deals AND playing for a brand name school like kentucky or duke who play on either cbs or espn virtually every game. not to mention getting a head start on building your fanbase. ngl most causal fans probably haven't watch a single g league game.

    • you think 5 months of national attention is more worth it than being able to play against grown men under nba rules and schemes? I'd rather sacrifice half a year of not being on national TV for hopefully a 15+ year nba career where I can have my own shoe and sell out my jersey worldwide, but that's just me (keep in mind that not all college players get paid that much attention to, especially if their team doesn't make march madness, Austin Reaves is a good example)

    • @@Netsfan24 Austin reeves also wasn’t an elite high school prospect so I’m not sure why you brought him up and tried to use him as an example. Nobody who has went to the G league has become the number one pick yet Cooper flag is about to get incredible national attention number one in high school and playing for national brand like Duke.

    • @@KingHampton-ul1iw yeah but that’s only for half a year, honestly if it were up to me I’d allow elite high schoolers to enter the draft like Lebron, why even waste a year “developing” when you’re already nba ready? It’s all up to the kid’s personal choices, some might prefer the college experience while others would rather play with pro style coaches and systems, not my choice
