There's an incredibly large amount of mutants so I am glad they're putting some effort into showing off some of the lesser known ones. But hoping we get characters like Iceman and Christian Frost too

Actually, they use Luna Snow because of her powers, she has dark ice for damage and light ice for healing. They need a healer/ support charter. Iceman would be more of a Mei style character which I hate

It looks great for people who want to play overwatch but not 2 because of how bad it is. Imo they missed instead of hit with only PC release since having that huge casual audience from consoles would be a huge help to them
I think the Steam and Epic at the end of the trailers is just for the Alpha. But full release should be on console, I hope those sources are right. I also hope there is PvE cuz they tout a story.
I think a lot of superhero games dont attract a strong pc audience in general. They’ve always catered to a wide and general audience which is why arkham, spiderman and others succeeded with console based gameplay. There’s just a weird vibe to the whole thing it feels like its made for weebs but thats not the marvel comic demographic.

@@spas6433 ye I feel like on PC you can't rely on players since they seem to play a lot more variety but console has a limited library with these typed of games so the causal audience would run towards it. It has their fav superheroes and it's free to play so it provides motivation to try it and very low barrier of entry. It also hitting that classic overwatch feel at the right time when players hate the new version of overwatch. But it seems they wanna just release on PC to a hugely unreliable player base
this game does have team shooter type like Overwatch and Valorant feels to it. Speaking of Marvel games, Blade, Wolverine and 1943 are also on the pipeline so there are certainly quite some gaming content for Marvel comic fans.

I hope they add Reptile. As someone who grew up with Superhero Squad, I have a soft spot for him, and his powerset is pretty cool. It could work as a customisable moveset that you gradually can unlock as you play. Like you could decide Pterodactyl wings for flight or Velociraptor legs for ground speed then later on T-Rex head for massive amounts of damage or Ankylosaurus for reduced attack but strong defence.
I'm very suprised by this trailer and seem like they are definately going in depth with the characters already

I am fairly interested. I feel like it’s a bit lackluster on the effects side, but a team based 3rd person shooter is very much welcomed
I really hope this game comes to consoles. I really dig the art style and the fact that characters just don’t look like a cut and paste version from the comics or movies. I also hope this game stays around long enough to see us get characters like Venom, Wolverine, Carnage, and of course Deadpool. Will say I still don’t understand why there hasn’t been a Marvel version of a superhero MMORPG like DC Universe Online. I would love to have game where I get to make my own hero and team up with friends to do raids in the Marvel Universe.
I'm sure miles is coming eventually it's just kind of crazy they announced Penny first before him Miguel or even spider-gwen, this is definitely a game that makes sense for Marvel and I could and I'm generally really excited to see more. I didn't even notice until Benny brought it up this is Magik's first game, and the daughter of Galactus finally getting some love

It’s not only PC people it’s just for the closed Alpha It’s coming to consoles Testing is way easier to do on PC since there's no certification for updates, so that's probably why they are omitting consoles til a finalized open beta where things are set in stone

For the people not liking Luna Snow and such, yeah fair enough me too but I think its probably necessary for the game's success. I'm not a big hero shooter guy (I only play the og TF2 🔥 ) but from what I'm seeing, they're obviously trying to tap into the Korean and the asian hero shooter market in general to fill in the gap Overwatch has left behind.

Was hyped for this game till I saw netease attached I loved there marvel moba but they kinda stopped caring about connection issues for AU in 2023 and it hasn't been playable in ages hopefully the team behind rivals does better with keeping up there game matnince outside of Asia then there Super wars team

I was I was thinking the same thing first I thought yeah overwatch then I saw it better and felt more the wife of Paladins but I think that's not a bad thing because mostly overwatch is kind of eh now I think I needed something different from that but still in the same wheelhouse and I think this is the one that's gonna scratch that each I hope they update this more than Paladins and overwatch because it's Marvel it has so many characters if they keep updating this thing tonnes and tonnes this could be at least break even and keep going

When I'm watching this trailer it has the vibes of overwatch but with a marvel skin on it then I watch the trailer again I feel it's more paladins still pretty much in the same wheelhouse but also I'm kind of tired of overwatch with all the stuff that's been happening with it so a kind of wanted play this even though I feel like it's just a rip off of the overwatch stuff doesn't seem that different from overwatch or paladins but I still like Marvel enough that I want to give this a big shot and like I said before kind of tied of over watch so it comes out a great time that I want to play something like overwatch but I don't want to play overwatch itself so this seems like perfect for scratching that Itch

No no, it's Magneto, the roster image leaked before the announcement, the five shadows are Storm, Magnetl, Starlord, Mantis, Punisher and Scarlet Witch. Two additional characterd are confirmed to be Moon Knight and Doctor Doom.
