I lived a humble life with my wife, 4 children and 8 grandchildren, I am almost 70 now and If I had to do it again I wouldn't change a thing. Have you ever heard the old saying money does not buy happiness, well the hell with wealth because at the end of the game we all go into the same box.

We all want our children to do better financially than we did. Some of my Uncles were more prosperous than my grandfather. My dad on the other hand, had to work hard to make a living. My brother earns more than me. But I earn more than my older brother. My oldest daughter makes 3X what I did when I was her age. I believe that choices we make early in life dictates our earning potential later in life.

The Church has the responsibility to help those that hunger and clothe those that are naked but they are neglecting to meet their responsibility. If the Church truly dedicated itself to fulfill these areas of their calling, God would provide the resources. It is not up to government and we can see how they are failing. It is important to understand that net worth does not translate into actual spendable wealth. Just because someone's networth is 100 billion doesn't mean they could go buy something for 100 billion any more than you can. It just means they own and control assets worth that much. Their taxable income is likely orders of magnitude less than their net worth.

My ex-wife and I put two children through private colleges Depaul University and Columbia college both in Chicago. We had to make sacrifices but now I sit back at 63 years old and I’m very proud of both of them. I personally never went to one day of college, but with common sense I ended up making a good living.

Wrong! Billionaires can't make 8 billon others wealthier from what they are worth! There needs to be an overall growing liberty instead of prohibiting liberty by increasing government force from more laws, regulations/taxation on scarce capital, and increasing taxes on businesses that inhibit new wealth creation by entrepreneur individuals!
