Unironically the best ability. 95% of pilots can't afford NOT to shoot it
wonderguardstalker yup plz you have to be one with the holo pilot 😎😎😎😎😎😎
Guys , it just dosen't work for me (im a phase shift main)
@@GIVEMELEE holo eats phase for holographic breakfast
The problem with holo pilot is not that it sucks, because it's actually extremely effective, it's just that you're alternatives are... Grapple: Breaks the game's engine. Stim: Breaks the games engine with a health boost. Pulse blade: Breaks the games mechanics. Cloak: Also breaks the games mechanics. Phase shift: Literally invincibility on a cool down. A Wall: Doesn't exist. We don't talk about this one.
I usually main holo pilot Kramer and satchel, so trash but feels soo good when the traps work!

I never see holo pilots. Probably cause Im a low level stim main
@@egggamer1800 it's because it's rare for someone to use it, cloak, grapple, phase and stim is more used do to increase in mobility and survivability.
ah so that's why it always works on CAR mains

Since Apex, this has never been more true
I was playing Attrition once, and I walked into a room with a holo pilot in the center and two holograms on either side of him, all facing the wall. It looked kind of like that council meme, so I just waited to see what he did. When the two holos disappeared, he turned around slowly and barfed up an insane number of holos, ran past me, out the door, and blew up. One of the best games of my life XD
I think you are overestimating the intelligence of titanfall 2 players, also, in the heat of the moment it is pretty easy to fall for a holo pilot, especially if you use it to make your enemy think you are trying to run from him or to cover up a retreat with a still holopilot
Thank you!
Gamingnation karan Jesus kid it’s rated M shouldn’t you not be playing it fucking twelve year old
I love how it has awarded me so many executions. running away from someone, banks corner and spawns holopilot and wait for the idiot to bank the corner....
Yeah, its not about the other players falling for it in the heat of battle. As Frothy Omen has said, its about taking advantage of that confusion and punishing the player for falling for it. If you had a short cloak lasting as long as the holo-pilot was up, that would be a seriously interesting tactical ability. You could activate the hologram and make a sneaky getaway, or set yourself up for a kill once someone fell for the hologram. It might be overpowered, but I think this could add a lot to the tactical use for holo-pilot. Perhaps in Titanfall 3
Or being chased by a Titan, damaged by a pilot, and running for your life before running into them
7:24 Holy shit do Respawn watch your videos. In Apex Legends Mirage goes invisible when he summons his pilot nova for like 5 seconds.

You could technically always do this even in Titanfall 2. Nova and cloak together. Pop the decoys and cloak at the same time
As a holo pilot main, it is not bad, at all. It took me some practice to be good with it. The deal is to use it wisely, but trust me, holopilot is a great ability. Many people understimate its power probably because they don't know how to use it properly. Just like grapple, ou have to learn the areas where it is effective and practice.
I agree with your statement with to an extreme extent. Holo pilot is very under-rated than the other abilities since most people would rather use a boost that affects their movement, or protection. Holo pilot does none of those, and it makes sense why people think it sucks, I too though like that, until I gave it a try with patients. It gets you out of sticky situations, and can confuse even high-leveled players if done correctly. Unless if you give it a shot for a reasonable amount of time, then you can say whether you like it or not. You know, when they added the sound when the Holo Pilot was killed, I was happy. In the video, you see that as a wimpy buff. I wished it was buffed more, but its still a movement to the right direction. I don't blame you to see a simple sound effect as minor, I really don't. Here's why it beneficial: If you place a holo pilot in a position to see whether an enemy is aiming down at you, or is running up at you is some uncertain direction, then leave the area for whatever reason, you wouldn't be able to know if you Holo was shot or not, unless you were looking straight at it. (Plus, who doesn't like to kill an enemy by faking your position. It really wasn't hard to get the shadowbox execution for me or others who used it on a daily basic. The execution is a good reward for the effort at lest for me.)
The holo nova boost on the other hand... Ya I got no words for that.
Dragotech 123 the fact that it's under used is actually a buff. I know when I see a pilot I want to engage right away, especially close quarters. When it disappears, I have an oh shit moment like, "where is he? He saw me on the map and he has the jump on me, I'm gonna die." It's so under used that I forget it's in the game until I shoot one and panic. Although fun and semi-tactical, Nova is still useless unless clearing rooms because it gives away your angle.
Dragotech 123 preach it hial bamboozle
Dragotech 123 me too
Ah yes, the Tactical that nobody understands how to use and thus thinks its awful. Just like how tone was OP, and How Ronin is currently getting bitched at for being OP despite being squishy and even more reliant on dumb enemies than holo pilot is So lets get this show on the road. What advantage does it bring. Well from the least beneficial upwards Is the best way to do it I guess. AI, AI always prioritises the Holo. So grunts, Spectres, Reapers and stalkers all stop shooting you to shoot it. If you're weak, they're a threat you've been saved from, if not, the reaper is atleast distracted and Obviously an Auto titan will also prioritise it. So yes in this case its nearly useless with a couple niche abilities. Now, onto actual helpful things. Its basically a Pulse blade with two charges and a faster recharge. Send it into a room and you know exactly where the enemy is because they're gonna open fire immediately, marking the map. So thats one use. Next is a direct follow on, a distraction. Send in a second one as you cook a nade and then when they shoot at it, throw the nade. Distraction, free kill. EZ. It can stop a whole teams advance if you time it right by sending it round the corner as they get to it. The result is like scary six cats who all leap into the air and scramble to respond. I have wiped out whole teams just by sending one round the corner, nading it, then repeating and gunning down the distracted people. Its a planning tool, not a reactionary tool like the majority of tacticals. Third is mid gunfight. As soon as you break sight hit the holo and then reverse your direction. They'll shoot at the holo and you'll shoot them, stealing away the victory they thought they had. You have to think about what you're doing with this, if you do, you'll almost guarantee a pub stomp. And laughs. Cuz memes. Play smart, not hard
Thanks for the lesson my friend, remember that all of this is just a joke though...
The Flying Tea Cup Most people are actually serious when they talk about HP. Might as well clear things up.

Fun Idea: In at the end of a game, use all your holo pilot nova's at once. (like get as many as you can in a game, and at the end at the evac, just spam and army of holos just for the lols... maybe you can blend in with then to the drop ship. i don't know.) (*Think i saw this idea on internet somewhere*)
in Vaughny's video
SPICE MAHREEN That fat son of a bitch.
I think holopilot should be holopilot nova. I like the idea of throwing 3 holo pilots in your face confusing the shit out of an enemy. Then the boost holopilot nova is replaced with 20 holopilot in different directions, being used as a smoke screen
I agree that Holopilot Nova should have more than three (10 maybe?), but I dont think that more than one ordinary holopilot is good. I think maybe that if you kill a holopilot it should show your position like pulse blade for three seconds... I think this would give it a good buff it needs, but not make it too OP
i dont like holo pilot nova because it sends out the pilots in the same pattern every time, it would be cool if it worked by sending out holograms with a little time inbetween so you could make each of them run the direction you want, making a cloak of like 5 pilots walking next to eachother with you hidden between or sending them in different directions at random to confuse your opponent. The way it is now I honestly think the regular holopilot ability is more effective, cause with nova you have a very recognizable formation
Thats sirswags idea
@@ulfricstormcloak3657 yeh.. i commnted before I watched the video
Apex would like to know your location
I know it's years after the fact, but if I may: The secret to understanding the Holo Pilot is understanding people, and the timing involved in their thinking. It's best to understand this intuitively but here's my most simple breakdown: People have four basic states in Titanfall: searching, alerted, in-combat, and zen (not even joking). Each state moves faster than the last. It's about the brain. Searching takes the most brain power and will always be the slowest. People in a zen state play this game all the time and literally aren't thinking - they're very fast, and might as well be holo pilot kryptonite. Your job, as a Holo Pilot user, is put the appropriate distance between you and your holo to account for your opponents brain. If they're moving fast, they need to see a holo, then you need to shoot them within, like, 100 milliseconds. It doesn't matter what they're skill level is. Unless they're in the habit of ignoring enemies, or they've got god-like focus (zen people), then they'll just be 100 milliseconds behind. Likewise, when people are searching, you can use a few full seconds between you and the holo. Advanced techniques include using parkour to put your holo in various awkward orientations, not just right in front of you. Soft skills include identifying exactly when someone has seen you, shooting people from weird angles, and knowing when to be a parkour god vs when to keep your boots on the ground (holo pilots don't jump). There is no skill that cannot be honed.
Holopilot is my favorite pilot tactical :3
As an ex-Holopilot main, I can confirm that the class can have extremely long survival times if used to bamboozle properly
Holopilot shotgun works great for Frontier Defense on certain maps. From a lore theory perspective; Cloak hides pilots until they strike the enemy; Phase Shift helps pilots evade/attack/escape enemies depending on the situation; Holopilots deceive their enemy and kill them before the enemy realizes the target was a holo. This enemy the HP engages could be a Titan or group of Spectres/Reapers. Against human pilots the holo is easier to detect but it can work, even if it's not as effective. From a multi-player perspective it kinda sucks by comparison to other choices but from the cinematic TF2 trailer depicting it, the Holo would be an invaluable "point man" in a planned attack on unsuspecting enemies. While not all weapons are equally strong, the strongest isn't always the best. It's how the weapon is used that truly determines how deadly it is.
You talk the talk but can you walk the sprint?

As a Holopilot main, they are really useful against auto Titans, since they usually attack the hologram first. I’m usually not able to fool many players with it, but when I do it’s an amazing feeling. I also like the armor design the best. I like using my Holopilot before I round a corner in case there’s a sniper or a camper waiting for me. If it stays alive, then I follow it. It’s helped me to suss out where some enemies are, and where is safe to move to. It’s extremely good in FD, since all the enemies are AI. I usually wait for them to horde up, use my Holopilot to draw their fire, then place down a satchel. Then I just clean up what’s left with the EPG. I also think it’s execution looks amazing (it’s called Shadow Boxing, if you’re not sure which one).
I actually love to use it, if you use it in a room or outside, you could know where the enemies are based on where their shooting from, or just use it as a distraction for other enemies to shoot at while you kill them, it’s just all about learning when and how to use it.
I've played aggressive players with the hollow pilot and it also proves how simple minded people are and you can outsmart them but there are distinct characteristics that are very subtle of how you can tell if it's an actual pilot or a hollow
Rolling around at the speed of sound got to follow my little hollow pilot

I love how you put a bit of a meme spin im your video, love it!
Holo-Pilot can actually be a very good loadout if you know how to use it properly, like when you have low health. Use the Holo-Pilot to buy you some time to run. Making the enemy think that you are running in another direction.
I confused the shit outta my friends when I was fighting them, hell, if the enemy has aiming help, they'll lock onto the holo-pilot instead. That's what happened to my friend when I used it on him.
Hey flying tea cup your honestly my favorite KZheadd and you actually bring me happiness so yeah thanks for that

4:40 you can use holopilot nova when ejecting out of your titan to decrease the chances of you being shot out of the air , by the time the enemy worked out which one is you , you already got back to earth and rushed into cover
"Makes them invisible after for a second while activated" Respawn making Mirage : Write that down , Write than down !!
I find it best for tricking people when you have a new or underpowered weapon to be able to kill them while they are distracted, or to check if an areas clear by sending one out to see if it gets destroyed
how to improve holo pilot: make it so that when another pilot attacks the hologram it reveals and highlights the position of them for a short period
So mirage
So thats how Mirage gets his ability and "Bamboozle" Catchphrase

HoloPilot 9 times out of 10 gives me a head start against enemies. Its also a great troll class too. I think the best thing about it is how no one really expects it. Very few players use holo pilot, it really makes my play style unique since I have never fought another pilot using HoloPilot.
Please do a theory on what the harvester harvests in frontier defense in the latest update.
Spartan Lizard3 Took me time to research it, but it’s the salt of COD players. This is the only way to universally harvest enough salt to use as fuel for the war. But if the salt is not extracted properly it will leak onto the planet’s surface. Causing a contagion to spread called “overhype”. The IMC are not aware of this and try to foolishly destroy the harvester in the hopes to defend their supply of COD salt.
Tdog plays lmfao

I know this video is 2 years old, but one of my favorite tricks with holo pilot is went you get the enemies attention get cover and place the holo grams. So all they see is three of the same enime standing still.

To really use holo pilot you need to act like a hologram , like waking into walls, and stuff like that. If you use a holo pilot and start wall running and shooting, People will know that your not a holo
That’s what I do
Nowadays, even if you get killed, THEY STILL GO TO YOUR HOLOGRAM. It's funny, really
Thank you for using that sweet sonic music
I’ve been able to use holo pilot affectively. It’s really good for baiting enemies into shooting at it while u hide and they just give away there positions and then taking them out before they can tell what’s happened
i find the holo pilot very useful. i've bamboozled a lot of people while using him.
“And the holo pilot is like” *EyH bAuSs!* I like holo pilot cuz he looks nice Filthy frank lmao
I started using holopilot 3 days ago for the first time, and since that this ability has already saved my life a lot of times, much better than shield or invisibility. I mostly use it as a decoy to scout the entrances for danger. On the CTF missions anti-pilot turrets are a common practice, so distracting a turreet with hologram is the best way to save time and health for a quick escape. If you are going to run out of the building, you simply use this to check out for enemies, and you do the same to check the interiors for enemy ambush. Some times I got low on health and ran inside the building away from the pursuer, setting up a decoy inside after breaking the line of sight. It is very damn useful as a defense tool. Especially since you have two of them and they have such a quick cooldown.
Love the quality! But I love my I love my holopilot tho. Subbed!
How do u have only 2k subs u should have more
Its not *that* bad.. I think if instead of repeating one action they should repeat all of your actions in the past second, including firing your gun. That might make them more believable

I’m a really new player who just beat the campaign and joined from apex legends and it’s so awe striking to see your amazing mobility
I can think of a way on how the holo makes a sound when it dies is useful. If your being cornered by a couple people you can send one out and then go the opposite way. If you hear the sound then you know that their attention is over there and you can throw an arc star or make a quick getaway. If it doesnt, well you would die anyway
I personally love using hpilot to mess with the enemy, plus using it in a chase can be pretty useful
I did manage to make the enemy team think I was a hologram one by activating one hologram then just going in an exact straight line. Only thing I've ever been proud of
I think a great thing about it is the fact that no one uses it. So when it is used, it's always more unexpected than if it was meta.
Holo Pilot / Holo Pilot Novas holograms should fire at targets doing zero damage, only to distract them. They could also be less recognisable as holograms by making the only distinguishing feature a thin blue outline and if wall-running or jumping small blue particles effects
oh i got excited like yoooo 2 in 1 day
One of the most fun uses for both Holo Pilot and Holo Pilot Nova is to wait until you get all three of your boosts, then when playing a 1v1, unleash everything. Its just so funny to see their reactions to 11 pilots run out from around a corner.
Holy pilot nova is great for confusion. I've used it to clock and run directly up to pilots and melee them as they shot at what they though was me.
The cloaking while hologramming sounds awesome, but if they holos could also fire at any enemy in their line of sight? They could do half the damage you do, maybe they could also explode once they die.
Full fix seems to be: 1)add mentioned by you invisibility cooldown to hide which one is real. Same for Nova; 2)reverse direction you shoot holopilot at. You don't have to turn around and fake it, just activate it normally to shoot him backwards. Or double down as normal. These can be configurable in settings just like Monarch. As for Nova, make a 90 degree spread an option. When 4 pilots run away in different direction after brief invisibility it's not so simple; 3)give holopilot AI so that it could continue to run properly and immitate shooting.
Your correct on the mistake of thinking you have grapple equipped. Happened to me today
love your vids
Tbh holo is really fun. I used him for the execution challenge and I got several triple kills because of my hologram
Dude you have the best intro
my favorite moment i ever had in titanfall 2 was when i set up a hologram in a window and another just crouching in the corner of the room and I pretended to be a obvious hologram. 3 players rushed right past me and i got them with a satchel charge i hid.
Imagine they made it absolutely op by it giving you a sonar like effect to the 1 enemy that shot it, It will reveal the location of the enemy that shot it just like alibi from rainbow six siege
I noticed recently that when the hologram is shot by a grunt it sometimes doesn’t get instantly killed but it’s hp is drained
Grattis, on 3000 ;P
They should add shooting into the action holo pilot can do as it makes sense for some to stand still when shooting
Yeah I've been there with the grapple holo or stim part
As a holo main I've found that in a 1v1 situation Hilo pilot is godly, especially if you mimic the movements of a hologram by walking in a straight line or standing still
That makes clone wars again on the battlefield.
It would of been great if holopilot only has one charge but you can use it again when the holograph is still active to swap locations with it. Or maybe make it so the boost teleports you instead
Holo pilot is very useful at times. I've used it to check where enemies are, and hell, it's helpful in open maps. You send a holopilot, run somewhere else, you see the enemy shoot it, then you go to them from behind and kill them. It's just a very good way to expose enemies and see if they a re there or not.
