Can anyone plz tell me is it ok not to floss with braces .? I am finding difficulty in flossing with braces especially the back teeth
Well You should floss with braces but it’s easier to have a water flosser but for string idk try and find away to do it sorry

Tbh I just use the water floss because of this. Its so hard to floss and sometimes the floss used to get stuck on my brackets
I don’t floss my braces but I brush twice a day and use mouthwash after every meal. But use the mini proxi brush that your orthodontist gives you to go in between brackets, HELPS A LOT

i got mine at the beginning of this week... the first couple days are hell. give it 4 or 5 days. the pain will go away.

I got my braces off like three and a half years ago and my doctors did NOT take mine off gently! It felt like my teeth were gonna get ripped out, it hurt so bad!

@@noelmier5334 nope I got them removed almost 3 years after getting them. I only use retainers at night now it's really a long process and you'll always need to wear retainers too so I take good care of them to last
Watch videos on things people wished they did before getting them. I watched them after and regretted not watching them before. Also you're gonna be really sore so heads up. I remember it hurt me even when the spoon touched me so do what you gotta to to prepare

Oh good luck, you are showing me that it's possible to get them off that soon, because I got mine 2 or 3 months ago, and my orthodontist told me that I need them for 12 or 15 months max and I was like only? Because I normally see people don't get them out before 3 to 4 years

my front teeth, top and bottom, are too sensitive, my dentist had to remove a few braces to adjust them on a new position, it hurt and caused me a migraine

Ever since I got my top and bottom expanders put on in February, my left side has been way more sensitive, even after 5 months of braces🙁, can anyone tell me why?

My age is 23 and I have never flossed in my life but my teeth is so healthy and white. After seeing the comment l just went to the dentist and he said that "it is not important to floss if you brush your teeth properly and also I brush my teeth only once a day(morning) .

HI Jonah Great question and yes you have a say in the matter but if you can get permanent retainers the better, usually most of our patients that opt for removable stop using them to soon and that's when your teeth start shifting ..... I'm reading the comments saying how painful braces are. My teeth are messed up so I might need braces, now I'm terrified of getting them.
They’re literally not painful at all!!! Everyone told me it would be the worst and I went in the dentist expecting really bad pain. But actually I went in there and 45 minutes later I had braces pain free!! I swear I didn’t even know he put them on until he said congratulations. I literally looked at the orthodontist and said that’s it?? I felt pressure on my teeth for the first 2 days and that’s literally it. GET BRACES

I have had my separators in for 2 months now because the manufacturer for the molar bands at my dentist have not sent the custom bands I need for my molars, is there anything I should suggest for them to do? The separators are getting uncomfortable and falling out constantly

Question: I want braces. We went to an orthodontist and they told me the procedure and all that stuff. Me and my Mom went home and I was supposed to think about it. This was a few months ago now and I made the decision to want braces and to continue the procedure but them my Mom tells me that we needed to tell the orthodontist 2 weeks after the appointment. Is that true or is my Mom lying?
I’ve gotten my teeth polish once before at my ortho and it really traumatized me because of the heat emitted and the sensation of the drilling. Is there anything I could do to have a more pleasant experience when they take my braces off and polish? Should I use mouth numbing cream or something like that?

Considering my braces already with me for years, I would like to keep it as well, also whenever I lost my bracket during treatment it costs me 5$ to buy new bracket to replace the lost one. Bro once I had to get 2 of my brackets removed and replaced back on. And one of them didn't hurt but the second one felt like they were yanking my whole tooth out. They say it doesn't hurt but it did for me
