I am currently struggling with addiction and listing to this helps me not feel so alone. I try my best to be kind and not put the weight of what I’m going through on other people’s shoulders but it can make you feel isolated/alone. I always go to this episode to calm me down when I feel like I’m about to spiral. I saw Cooper when Jaden was on tour. I wish I got the chance to speak to him. He was such a kind hearted person from what I saw and having a moment of his time would have been life changing. I just want to say thank you for this video because I don’t know where I would be today
I am a recovering heroin addict. I have been sober since November 2013. I am now 31 years old. It is gut wrenching and shatters my heart seeing young people, like Cooper, losing their life because of fentanyl. Every single day another young life is taken and I'm so sick and tired of seeing it take over these kids lives. Now to Jaden I hope one day you are able to get off of it before its to late. Its obvious you are struggling right now and my heart just hurts for you and everyone this drug has effected. It brings me back to when I was their age and how I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I feel that pain addiction causes but I know there's only so much I can say because I can't help someone that doesn't want help. Just know its possible to live a clean and sober life. There are so many treatments out there right now that can help. Rehab and 12 steps is not the only way anymore. If you are in active addiction right now know that I'm rooting for you and I know you can do it!!!! Please don't leave your family shattered like Cooper's family. Addiction doesn't just effect you. It effects the ones you love too..
