My best friend sent me this song a few years ago. I had just recently moved away, and we were going to go to different highschools for our freshman year. At the time, we sent each other songs every so often (he did more than I did). I think this was one of the first songs he sent me, and for some reason, one of the most memorable. Tbh, I could always remember the band name but not the actual title. I used to think that Starset was the name of this song lol It’s been a long while since I’ve listened to this song, but I’ll think about it every now and again. I was always too lazy to find the song again and listen to it until recently, when a new friend I made mentioned that Starset was one of his favorite music artists. This song brings back so many amazing memories for me, and it reminds me of my best friend... who I haven’t really heard from recently. I’ll be thinking of him though. If he’s reading this, I miss ya! ^^

In my half emo breaking benjamin days I always saw this band recommended in the comments. This is the first song I hear about 5 or 6 years ago. It felt like I was really connected with their music, I started listening to every song from every album, I started reading deeply into the lyrics and fell even more in love with this band. Now the newest album is released and ‘Endless Endeavor’ moved me, I was motivated to listen to this again straight after. Oh dear I can firmly stand and say that Starset captured my heart the second I clicked on this song that one night on Christmas Eve and year after year, album after album I’ve never once felt like a single song was out of place. @@grownwithme9330 Keith Wallen of Breaking Benjamin has a solo project with a very similar sound to Starset. There’s also plenty of metalcore bands with wholesome lyrics. Most of them are Christian, but bands like Fit For A King, Wage War, Memphis May Fire, We Came As Romans (with the exception of one song featuring a rapper) all haven’t had a single cuss word in their entire discography. As far as the uniqueness of Starset, that’s hard to match. Even then, there’s plenty of bands with a very unique sound. A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Falling In Reverse, Palisades.
