www.comicsforbeginners.com A fresh tutorial on how to create a moody piece of art from a black piece of board, simply by adding gouache and white pencil. Well, maybe not so simply but still easier than you might think! The finished piece ended up as the cover for my very first crime noir novel, "Fanden på væggen" published in Denmark by Calibat. • Love gouche. My art sucks though. Im better with ordinary watercolors. could you do a video on copyright plaigarism. Copying Reference materials legal pitfalls to avoid. I take photos then you have privacy regulations. people dont like their picture taken. I do sketching in pencil and water colors. I saw a book on sketching. They did drawings with markers and gouche. Ive seen articles on urban sketching with you having to do it in 5-10 minutes. Do you publish on line Sorry about waffling. Thanks for your videos.

    • Hi Stephen, thanks for your comment. I do go into a few things about using reference and how to avoid legal issues in episode 9 of the tutorial series. It's at comicsforbeginners.com as part of the paid content. And if you go to pallsschmidt.com/shop you can find links to some of my books.
