  • Its crazy how with any other animation studio there tends to be one movie which stands above the others as the "best". with ghibli, every movie is so special in its own way. they are all equally masterpieces.

    • Yeah. I cried so hard from Grave of the Fireflies. It's sad watching Miyazaki Hayao being disappointed in the industry he helped shape. It's as if you peered into heaven and found God weeping over his creations trying to figure out where things went wrong.

  • This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.
