Mountain range of the Pamir-Alai mountain system in Kyrgyzstan. The passes are very high and difficult. The ridge is almost entirely covered with eternal snow and is replete with glaciers. The highest peak of Lenin is 7134 m. The Alai Range is a mountainous region unique in its characteristics, combining the aesthetic appeal of warm and high Asian mountains, as well as the technical component, due to the presence of a large number of interesting and complex climbing and tourist obstacles of various categories of difficulty.
