Just got back from NYC last wk, 1st time there. Had Peter Luger, Katz Deli, Lombardi's pie and Los tacos No. 1. Thanks to KZheadr's like you, it made it one of the most memorable trips ever. I thank you!

How you gonna forget bout the iconic baconeggncheese that you can get from your local deli
_JP _ he’s too white to know bout that life
“Ya ack lemme get a baconeggncheese saltpepperketchupmayo”
And the cooped cheese
@@newkhalibangladesh Why does there always have to be a racist in the crowd. UGH
don’t forget to throw chips on it of course
Im headed to NY with my brother and sister on 12/9 , so glad I found your channel! Thank you for sharing so much. Can’t wait to visit your city!
When this COVID-19 is over, you should totally do this again!!! I have some pretty awesome ideas
Evan Estrada It will never be over/disappear, we have to learn to live with it/protect against it/train our immune system/antibodies with vaccines and other methods. I get what you mean but it’s not like quarantine will be over when the virus is “gone”, (probably a lot earlier to avoid frying the economy) or even when a vaccine is created (there is no way to vaccinate every human on earth). Didn’t mean to come across as a party pooper, just a heads up that the virus won’t disappear/we simply have to adapt. But I agree, he should definitely go to more interesting nyc restaurants in the future!
@@vivi3301 Ahahahahah I have accepted that this quarantine will be here for a long time. Sorry I should've said "contained". And you aren't being a party pooper at all by the way so don't worry :)
Evan Estrada :)
More Viruses are waiting on line. Coronavirus is nothing. Next on line we will have two different Virus simultaneously. Those Virus will effect our HEART.
@@notinthislife451 Uh ohhhhh 😬😬😬
You are so funny Brett! I've been watching and enjoying your videos. Seeing you standing there holding that giant pizza slice made me crack up!
That's a good looking list. Most of these I haven't tried. Definitely will next time in the city. Subscribed!
Omg , this vlog is for me , why? 😁because i love eating 🍽 Pizza is always my favorite food ♥️ thanks for the valuable information 🥰
NYC is not just Manhattan.. some of the best food in NYC can be found in the outer boroughs!
Dudes white, what u expect lmfaooo but facts tho
Ever been to Dyker Park Bagels?
THIS!
these were my first thoughts then boom saw your comment
What's the best deli and pizzeria in NYC?
I enjoyed watching the joy of the sierpinski pizza. It is a fractal slice! A genuine *pizza* pizza. Just lovely.
Something about the way he eats and nods his head is so perfect and satisfying.
I really loved this video. Great editing, enthusiastic, and looks like the food was good. I’ll definitely check out some of these the next time I’m in NYC.
Tompkins Square Bagels are amazing! Tried in August, can't wait for the next trip. Need to try Los Tacos and Katz. Big fan of Junior's Cheesecake, Russ and Daughters, etc. Honestly, all NYC food is good. I have never had a bad meal.
This is my second video of your channel and .... I love it! Congrats!!!
Man you channel awesome. You saved me hustle time finding places to eat since its my first visit
Brett, your video's ROCK!!! always excited to view an new one. I have list of NY things to do from your videos!!

Awesome eats, look forward to tracking some of those places down. Thanks for video
Prince St Pizza, tacos no 1 , joe’s pizza, and
Fernando Gandara Joe’s is the best
Bleecker st pizza (Nona Maria) yum
Thanks for the great recommendations in this video. My brother and I went to Vanessa's Dumpling House in Chinatown and they were phenomenal. I had no idea this small place served great food at a reasonable price. 👍
Vanessa's is a New York must, I tried it on my last trip. Cant wait to get back!
@@travelwaffles8823 great idea. Btw if you have a taste for Korean food, there is a place called Barn Joo 35, and they have a Korean Army stew that is simply amazing 👌
Brett you need to go try Max and Minas Ice Cream in Queens NYC.
OMG! Honey on the pizza?! You made an italian chef cry right now 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sara S. Deadass try it it FUCKIN SLAPS
Right?
10:21 when they’re literally 1 block from your school and you’ve walked past that place every single day 😭 I’m going there Monday !
Very enjoyable. Great that these places are quite affordable by NYC standards.
Chelsea Morning is a Joni Mitchell song. Listen to it. It’s beautiful!
Finally Got A Chance To See Myself 😂🤣 A Customer At Ample Told Me About The Video, Awesome Locations; Appreciate You Remembering The Story
Excellent video. Although I live far from NYC, I have eaten in 7 of the places you recommend and I completely agree.
Come on Brett. I can top your top ten foods in New York City. Here they are. 1. For Pizza -- Grimaldi's or DiFara (both in Brooklyn, New York) 2. Dominican Food -- La Casa Del Mofongo (in Washington Heights) celebrities eat here. Cheap. 3. Steaks -- Peter Luger or Delmonico (in Brooklyn and Manhattan respectively) 4. Cheesecakes -- Juniors Restaurant (found all NYC, main one in Brooklyn) 5. Indian Food -- Seva Indian Cousine (in Queens, New York) delicious flavors people !!! 6. Jewish Food -- Katz Deli (in Manhattan) best Pastrami massive sandwich on Earth !! 7. Frankfuters -- Papayas Frankfuters (in Manhattan) really cheap with delicious toppings. 8. Chinese Food -- Wah Fung Fast Food (China town) The BEST Chinese food in NYC. 9. BBQ Meat -- Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (Brooklyn) Just try it once in your life. Trust me. 10. Hamburgers -- Paul's Da Burger Joint (in Manhattan) laid back, delicious and cheap 11. Ribs -- The name of this restaurant is called Fresh Taco. They have delicious Tacos, Paella Rice from Spain, chicken and steak. But, their Ribs are soft, perfectly cooked and sliced thin. Their food is to go with no tables there. The food is cheap too !!!!! (they're on 46 Street and 47 avenue in Sunnyside, Queens) Takeout. Other Worldly GOOD !! Other honorable mentions -- Seduttos Ice Cream (in Manhattan), Freakin Puerto Rican (in Queens), Kabayan Filipino Authentic Cuisine (in Queens), Magnolia Bakery (in Manhattan) Smack silly good !!! Trust me people. I was born and raised here in New York City. We have over 44,000 restaurants in this city. For me to pick the above places is because when I tried them, I spent days afterward thinking of how delicious they are !!!
For pizza, I think Grimaldi's became a tourist trap. Go with Juiliana's, Lucali, and Joe's on Carmine St. DiFara is ok, but not the same without Dom DeMarco making the pies.
This comment convinced me to save the list, I like your reasoning, but as an Asian if I may ask, did all those place located on safe neighborhood or I need to get bodyguard for some places? any of those places that have super long queue time or having really bad attitude despite the taste? Because I personally think eat experience also influenced by mood.
@@velzing22 Aga you have nothing to worry about. All of these neighborhood eats I recommend are all safe. The second option (Dominican) I would say go around noon because that is when their food is the freshest and has not been sitting around in a heater. But, they cook so out of this world delicious. All the other spots you can go in the day or night time and I guarantee you that you will be dreaming of going back to these places in your dreams. I recommend that you video record each spot and put it on KZhead and Instagram. Have fun !!
i was surprised when you were at chelsea market and didn't go to los tacos no 1. i am pleased you did cover it. one of my go to places when i visit nyc. btw, honey on pizza is so underrated. it needs to be a thing here in australia. roberta's bee sting pizza is magnificent.
This got me stoked for my first time ever trip to NYC this January. All I’n thinking about is the food lol
I’m so delighted l stumbled across your Channel! I’ve eaten at 8 of the 10 restaurants you listed... Nom Wah’s by far my favorite! I was eating their Shrimp & Pea Dumplings, Scallion Pancakes and drinking their Chrysanthemum Tea... By looking at you (and guessing your ages) I’m guessing before you were even born! I managed to eat there for the last time right before this damn pandemic hit. Great Job guys and fabulous picks, you know you food! ♥️👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Adorable guys eating their way through NYC. I'm down with it!
Thank you, this is so cool! NYC is on my Bucket List. I want to go!
That is not even close to being the best pizza...
OMG BOUGHT TICKETS TO NYC in December super excited will try to go to all of these places 😭
Good recommendation 👌🏽 i hope i can try everything one day 🤞🏽
Just found your channel. Watched part 2 first. Thanks SO much for starting w bagels. And Im so glad you went to Astoria for Greek in part 2 🗽🥯
Liked the video. NYC food looks awesome. Newyork is best.😊👍
Thank you for review these shops.
One of my favorite spots is Sullivan Street Bakery in Hell's Kitchen. Really good roast beef sandwiches and tons of other stuff. Their bread is amazing.
Nice video - brings back fond memories. Had Ooey Gooey last summer by the Whitney Museum - phenomenal! Went back the next day, but they ran out, trust me every flavor's good LOL. Adobada pork is the best at Los Tacos #1! It's Joni Mitchell that sings Chelsea Morning, she's Canadian, haha. Back in Feb 2020.
Yay thx guys! I am planning to go next to July and hope to find all them open.
Bro good video!! Didn't know about some of these
I need to go to and visit this place before I could get BP problems …. Love this fudsss
Loved this video Brett!
Chelsea Morning was written by Joni Mitchell, in the 1960's. Great video.
After this video , I will for sure going to try the pizza on pizza !!! You the best !!!
@Brett Conti can I share this video with my friends in China? They all like to watch your videos! Thanks so much

When I lived in NYC, Thompkins SQ. was chainlinked off to keep the junkies out. And you only went to Brooklyn if your family already lived there. Ahh, memories.❤️🤘🏼
thanks your nice guide for new york best food . byeongki
Great to see how the food colture is, I hope I expirience this one day
Thanks for amazing video! When I come to United States I will take this road!
yummy foods. thanks for sharing. more success to your channel. see you around.
Wow, that was a Great Video Review!
I used to train for cycling in Boulder, Colorado and a very popular pizza joint, The Sink, had the most delicious pizza crusts. The Sink would serve your pizza with a bottle of a "honey bear" to lather the left over crust with honey! DELICIOUS!
Very good choices. I've been to tom sq park bagles and los tacoes
I'm coming to New York tomorrow all the places u show in this video look so good so I'm must try all
Top, can’t wait to try all of this things at April
You should put the price in each foodplace!! I would be really helpfull ❤️
Prices change, so it's best to look them up before you go. I got ideas and looked up menus on yelp
Pull your boots up by the straps. Heyuh
Yaas Lox n Cream cheese on a bagel. Cause I'm from N Y C. Had it as a child. Love it still. Thanks N Y C
I’m from queens and can vouch for halal guys, katz deli, and boba guys! I do prefer though Kung fu tea, order the passionfruit green tea! If you find yourself in queens or Brooklyn try lennys clam bar in queens for Italian food. Also, nearby is new park pizza which is very known for their brick oven pizza!! Joes shanghai for soup dumplings in flushing, cabana for amazing Cuban food, Martha’s bakery, shah’s halal, the gully NYC, chip for cookies, hero Thai and izakaya, blend on the water, sweet chick, okonomi/yuji ramen, oasis, 12 chairs cafe, while in kathmandu, Jackson diner Indian cuisine, and much more. This is mostly places in queens and Brooklyn! Hope this helps someone !
Totally love your vids
I love how you just jumped RIGHT in to the video
Spercool list, thanks! We’ve been to Los Tacos twice and its the best!!!
LOVE
9:30 man the affordability is one of the reasons I love NYC, that friggin bowl costs over $16 here in the bay area
I'm from NY too! I like Nom Wah too but I think an og Chinese restaurant dim sum experience would be super cool too😬
Levain bakery cookies should be included in this list!
Great video, guys. But what about Veselka's in East Village? Have you been there?

I love the way he says “sauce”
Saaauuce....Soo Neewww Yaaaak...Lolz
Wow big bowl and yummy ice-cream!
I have just seen a picture on Facebook that tells you what you’re getting for Christmas based on your birth month. My birthdays in June, I got BUBBLE TEA. So how bout I come spend Christmas in NYC and we get bubble tea 😍
lt's so satisfying just by watching!
Abraham is cool, more vids with Abraham. I want to do that food walk,. Maybe one day I come to new York hit those spots. Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed it. Especially the Taco, burger, and pizza Restaurant. I got to try boba tea. My question is it possible to see all of new York and eat at all those spots in 7 days? Like stay in manhattan 1 night, brooklyn 1 night, and so on soo forth? Like a happy Southern got off a flight at JFK on Sunday, first time in New York, and didn't leave till Saturday. Keep going with these vids. Jason North Carolina
SUPER VIDEO THANK YOU BROOO
Katz’s is incredible. The pastrami sandwich is amazing but super expensive
There’s a nice bagel place in Fulton Center I got a jalapeño cheddar bagel it was amazing. My go to place when wandering around downtown
All your videos make me want to come to New york REALLY BAD. 😭😭😭❤️❤️ I love New York
If you haven't checked it out yet, you need to try Keste's Pizza and Vino. They have amazing Italian-styled pizzas, and if you sit in, you can get a 12" Margherita pizza for $5 - Definitely worth it!
Coming to the city soon! I will for sure check these places out!
Yes! Need to link up!
I would check out Prince St Pizza (get the pepperoni square) and Joe's Pizza over the two pizza spots he listed. They're the best slices in NYC.
Check out for breakfast in „Bond 45“ super sick! I really recommend it!
Loved this!
omg ARE YOU KIDDING?! I pass by Katz's Deli ALL the time when I was in high school (cuz my school was a few blocks away from there) and my friends and I never went in there T.T I didn't know that deli starred that one scene with Sally omg
Karen Lau you don’t know anything about the city huh LOLL
Watching this blog was a real torment to me because I can't taste these extraordinary burgers and ice cream. And as for what you said at the beginning of the blog. I am from Georgia and is a country loaded with historical monuments, traditions, amazing food, such as Khinkali, are still preserved. And most importantly the magical nature
I don’t know why you can’t “taste” these foods. If it’s because you can’t travel due to Covid or the price, I saw go for it. I’m going next month and plan to visit some of these places. I learned after my dad and I had some big fights with Covid, that I’m not going to die without seeing some places around the world. Life is short, go out and live it. Get the shot or wear a mask, but don’t stay indoors all day.
amazing food ....
Add fish tacos at Tacoway Beach in Rockaway from May to October. Check Smorgasburg food fair, it has several locations.
I'm sold! I'm tryin' all 10!
glad to know I can die happy after eating at all these food places in the city!🤤😂
We need to film a part 2
Brett Conti y’all gotta!
Yesss!!
aha right!
I do have a food video idea. My area in New Haven, CT we have a knockoff Katz Deli and a knockoff Grimaldis next door to each other. A comparison video would be funny.
BC should make a late night visit there.
That Pastrami sandwich is the best i miss Katz Deli great feed Brett %100
I have a feeling the pizza on pizza idea comes from the movie Saturday Night Fever where John Travolta eats a pizza on top of pizza during his iconic walk scene.
