@@kobralazerthis hallumi cheese is actually very beneficial and olive oil is very healthy if not the healthiest oil there is in levant countries each family has her land which is filled with olive trees and once a year the whole family goes and picks ripe olives and they make a lot of it into olive oil to use so it can’t be more organic then this…
@yazankhatib984214 күн бұрын
@@yazankhatib9842 Cheeses aside from the protein content that is lower than other dairy products does not have many benefits, that's why is the worst dairy product you can consume. Olive oil is the healthiest oil but it's still an oil. As health benefits go, the only difference between olives ( which are on the board as well ) and olive oil is the polyphenols content which is higher a bit in oil, however, that does not justify the extra calories. Over all this is indeed not the worst traditional breakfast or whatever it is, but not the best either. It's full of extra unnecessary fats and cards from all of those naans. Also, something being organic does not mean it's healthy. A wine that's home made it's "organic" but alcohol is literally perceived as poison by the human body, so you wouldn't call poison healthy, would you?

My best friend growing up in Michigan was Lebanese. Was introduced to the Middle Eastern flavors in 1st grade. My mother taught all day so I ate lunch everyday at my friend's house. I still remember the scents from the kitchen. Kibbeh, labneh, shawarma, etc. Spices of cinnamon & z'atar...This cuisine continues to be my favorite all these years. I'm almost 70😊. Years later my friend's niece, Maureen Abood, wrote a beautiful Lebanese cookbook called Rosewater & Orange Blossoms. Centered around her family & love of cooking.Great way to learn this wonderful culture & cuisine. Anthony Bourdain also loved this book. This breakfast of haloumi, etc is so satisfying! The Mediterranean breakfast is hands down the healthiest breakfast
Ah yes, dipping fatty cheese in more fat. This is definitely the pinnacle of health.
@@kobralazerthis hallumi cheese is actually very beneficial and olive oil is very healthy if not the healthiest oil there is in levant countries each family has her land which is filled with olive trees and once a year the whole family goes and picks ripe olives and they make a lot of it into olive oil to use so it can’t be more organic then this…
@@yazankhatib9842 Cheeses aside from the protein content that is lower than other dairy products does not have many benefits, that's why is the worst dairy product you can consume.

It's not just Lebanese breakfast it's for the most of as Syrian Palestine ....
No sugary cereals!😋

@@tortoisesoup16 both labneh and zaahtar are staples in all Levantine cuisine and there are many Syrian immigrants in Turkey so ofc you will see it their restaurants etc as well as Arabic/oriental stores (of which there are ones on every corner of the planet lol)
