The way he was ignoring and turning his body away from the one woman who was there who was challenging him as a public official is despicable and disgusting behavior.

Everything is "dispicable & disgusting" 2 leftist.
That’s soft, we NYers, grow a thicker skin and look at the substance of the interview

YES! PERIODT.

She's not that smart.
She was an ada who put career criminals back on the st. If adams was smart he would challenged her to go to community meetings with him cause she is out of touch with reality
Love how people call Olay rude. It’s more like she doesn’t “play the game” like most media people do. She asks the hard questions and when Adams was ignoring the facts or outright lying she would point it out and call him out on his BS.
Yep. Didn't see anything rude, just checking his facts like any good lawyer.
Good, too many people wanna bullshit
The facts were 100% rude to the citizens of nyc
I realized when the mayor was talking about the far-left. Fox has been telling the straight up truth about the obsurdity of their ideology.
@@tonyt4395 I realized as soon as he used the slogan "far left" as a serious adult he is Fox's #1 fanboy.
I'm so glad she called out his contradiction on subway crime. One minute there's no subway crime and the subways are safe, The next minute we need armed soldiers patrolling the subways. Like, we're in a POLICE STATE. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!
Or there's a police presence so crime has gone down. It's not that hard to follow that logic. I'm here in Chicago. I do feel safer seeing police on the L. It's pretty much a psych ward after 9
@@Chi-cd3keBut that’s you. She literally backed that up by bringing up reports that actually people didn’t feel safe seeing more police officers. You might see that logic the people in New York have said otherwise which was her point.
They have massively increased police presence in subway stations but they do not do anything. Just stand there
@Jmi391 I speak for myself. I feel safer. In Chicago, white people I talk to have completely abandoned public transportation because there's too much going on. If police that yall claim are doing nothing make you nervous. Maybe reevaluate your life. The only time i ever felt anxious around police was when i was doing dirt
@@Chi-cd3ke You’re not thinking critically. No one is nervous of police themselves no one said that but the fact that your brain has went there shows me a lot about u and how u think. The police presence is what makes people nervous because the police being there usually means that something went down or something is wrong especially if they are walking around armed. People walking around taking defensive or offensive measures doesn’t tend to make people feel safe it actually makes them feel that danger is near and that’s what she is talking about and that’s what the surveyed people in New York have stated as well. Speaking for yourself is speaking for yourself you are one person and we are talking about a city full of people that have spoken about the police presence in the subway making them feel unsafe and this has been documented as she stated in the video. It has nothing to do with being guilty and wanting to duck police because of “doing dirt” that is so stupid and such a simple way of looking at things.
He tried to “brotha and sista” his way out of that chokehold Olay had him in 😂
Don’t forget “Queen”
@@nib5567 can’t forget about the Queen 😂
He tried to call her "queen" the first time that she challenged him, and she just went in harder. This man is a joke.
I applaud her for what she did, but my problem with Olay is that she is also a smear artist. I will see her post on Twitter, and if you happen to be a political opponent of hers, she will miss quote you, distort what you actually said, and will push lies against you. Do I think mayor? Eric Adams is a scumbag absolutely. However, she is no saint either.
I didn’t hear queen after first minute of the interview
I’m so glad the Breakfast Club allowed someone educated enough to challenge Eric Adams. New Yorkers are not happy with this man. He was hoping to come on radio and have a soft interview and reimagine his image. I’m so glad she was here to interview him. He’s very condescending also. Regarding her facts as feelings and not giving her eye contact after a while.
She was looking for a gotcha moment instead of clarification; when he asked about a direct quote she said “I see it all the time”
@Atribecalledsuccess she's the type of "activist" that's more of a detriment to the community she's trying to help than the criminals because she has a public defender mind state. She wants to defend criminals and the public comes Second. She's lost
I wish they would have done that with Vikek and Haley though. It feels weird to go hard on a blk politician but allow the others to run rampant with their lies
@atribecalledsuccess she didn’t have to. He ended up giving his own quote. Let a fool talk long enough , they will do the work for you.
New Yorkers are never happy with anybody. Just winey
OLAY had this man TREMBLING 😮😮😮
He had to keep talking to railroad her so she couldn’t make her factual points .
He NEVER answered her direct question. He spoke in a circle and brought something else up. He spoke over everything she said. He refused to look at her or acknowledge her because she has facts, stats, and black and white truth. He’s such a politician. And that’s not a compliment at all.
He is a habitual liar
THIS IS WHY VOTING LOCALLY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN EVERY SINGLE STATE 🎯
We need actual person to person democracy within our communities. We need ordinary people to have the real ability to decide on the civil and economic direction of our society. I don't think we need local elections. What we need is to abolish the system that allows millionaires and career politicians to run our lives, and to put in place an actually democratic system.
Jones plantation top to bottom
@otherperson democracy always ends in communism and the minority being oppressed. Statism of any kind never ends well. Democracy r4qlly goes out the window when the slaves realize they can just vote for more "free" stuff.
@@SalamHerbs-db5nt this made no sense lol. If the people have actual control of their lives, they would not ask for free stuff because there would be no one to ask. They would produce their basic needs themselves. There would be no state, because there would be no institution by which some social class has control over another. Majority rule can be addressed in numerous ways (giving minority groups veto power over decisions that directly affect them, cosensus or consent based democracy, and so on). The state is the problem. But the solution to the alienation of the state is real communal decision making.
@otherperson Mordern democracy is a scam. A nefarious and diabolical system to keep people enslaved. The slaves have no control over their lives, and the ruling class doesn't care what the slaves want. They'll continue to go into a little closet with a shower curtain every few years to check some boxes on an isreali voting machine, hoping that maybe, just maybe, things will change this time. Back and forth we go.

Y'all need to keep Olay on the team. Her scrutiny for Adams was magnificent. Charla has lost lots of credibility as a "journalist" with his lack of challenge for his guests especially those of the political variety. It is refreshing to see someone who is articulate and honed in on her points. If Adams actually addressed any of her points she had sources and receipts ready to check him. She did her homework and that is what the BC needs more of.

I understand letting the guests speak and defend themselves before too many things get piled on top of each other, but she deserved more respect than she received. The Mayor is not the Lord and Savior of NYC… if I wake up and decide to commit a violent crime ( which happens often in NYC) how exactly is the mayor responsible for these acts ? There is a culture problem in our country the mayor can’t fix that within 2 years. Our people need to look within and stop relying and blaming and elected individuals for people who have full control over their lives. I don’t agree with all his talking points but cmon… Blaming mayors or politicians for an increase in crimes isn’t an educated approach..
@@rachelspence2339 not trying to start an argument and i mean no offence but they play a huge role in deciding where the funds are diverted. the mayor isn't responsible for crime, he's responsible for the way these crimes are handled, the way these criminals are handled, the way the streets and the people who live in them are taken care of. if his job didn't do anything, there wouldn't be a whole election for it, crime is not an individual problem, it's a state issue, if not a federal one; yk what happens in countries where crime is handled better? where the whole system is better? there's less crime.
@@itsssfury I appreciate the “ not trying to start an argument “disclaimer( neither am I haha) it allows us to have an amicable discussion. I agree with everything you just mentioned. I just think we need to look in the mirror a bit as we are to heavily reliant on government officials to better our lives. I honestly believe that many of our politicians mismanage the budget often. I just want to know what the real solution is to all of these problems. Why do things seemingly get worse no matter who is in office?
@@rachelspence2339 glad we can have a casual dialogue, i appreciate you reciprocating the sentiment! i definitely don't deny that every individual has the capacity to improve themselves, to improve their lives, and their community; i just think that there are so many systemic issues that we really need to come together to deal with too. personally, i think the reason why things seemingly get worse no matter who's in office is because, to a certain extent, it doesn't matter; people have no tools to hold them accountable. there's nothing letting us really affect the way anything is handled, only the people who handle it; unions are probably our most powerful tool to pressure government into doing anything, and nyc has a history of union busting ranging all the way back to the late 1800s in brooklyn. when you add to that the nature of how wealthy people continue to accumulate more and more money, giving them more political sway, giving them more opportunities to further exploit workers to make even MORE money, and it becomes very clear why everything seems to continuously get worse overall. this may be optimistic or naive, but i genuinely think most crime is not born from misguided people but the terrible conditions they have to endure, poverty drives people to steal, a lack of mental health resources drive people to do all sorts of things, and budget cuts reducing the aid we can offer whomever may be in need, in favour of lining some police chief's pockets, is nothing short of tragic.
Seeing a lot of conservative, “who is this uppity woman who’s being rude” sh*t in these comments. This is why we end up with guys like this in power. Too back broken, yielding to power and condescending to the “others” (like women) to be helpful to anything righteous.

Where was Olayemi when you interviewed Candice Owens?!?!? The Breakfast Club just sat there and they need people who are prepared for well prepared talking points and rhetoric designed to confuse people.
How ironic is it that most New Yorkers don’t feel safe in the “safest big city in the country”!
They should've had her when Candace Owens was on.
Mayor Adams was cooked. Olay had the oven preheating, the water was boiled, the butter was bubbling in the pan, the mise on place prepped, and she had the hat on. Flour, egg bath, and tempura crumbs. Cooooooked

Tacky childish behavior, which lack decorum??? Oh. Okay.

It's sad what people mistake for intelligence these days.
@@sda2093707 no it’s sad what people recognize as intelligence these days. Like I said, he went on The Breakfast Club and became bacon, egg, and cheese. He is a terrible Mayor (lowest approval rating in NYC history), he lied, he was disrespectful, arrogant, he refused accountability, and he was hypocritical. Breakfast club won me back, bring her back 💙💙😂
Wait! I am puzzled. The panel seems to berate The Mayor for staffing more police in the subway system although he might posit the subways are safer. His position seems to challenge the public perceptions that more police presence in the subways makes the public feel less safe because of over policing??? So, is the young lady challenging The Mayor for his feelings that the subways are safer and he staffed more officers to protect riders although officers might do more stop and frisks??? And, is she and the hosts also questioning the recent polls showing a disconnect between perceptions of overall safety of New Yorkers with the mayor believing more safety exists and citizens feeling less safe??? I sense the young lady and the hosts are too combative and not really listening to this Mayor.
If only every media outlet held public officials accountable like this.
Most others fear losing accessibility to these politicians to hold their feet to the fire like the media is supposed to [Same reason TBC is being pretty soft tiptoeing around this whole Diddy situation *access*]. Media is supposed to have a pretty adversarial relationship to power no matter the political affiliation of that politician not this almost religious deference they tend to have to these people.
So we hold democrats accountable but not conservative guest such as Candice Owen’s or Nikki Haley. Great job BC.
