I had a lot of fun making this video. Doing bird photography at a feeding station is a lot of fun and effective - but why not make it into a challenge?

Nice job. 5:32, You have a Sony right there, you could crank that ISO up like there is no tomorrow and still be okay. And you would have a good shutter speed.

Like the idea, but maybe use the lens for a little longer, like maybe a week instead? Or do do the challenge with a buddy of yours who also does the challenge, or using his/hers daily preferable gear, and then compare that with what you've managed to produce with what was chosen on the wheel. Like what you're doing overall tho, your vids are great.

I've recently been seeing wildlife photos at 24mm, really interesting compositions including all the habitat. I have no idea how they do it, possibly automatic camera traps but I think some are taken like this with remote shutter and some handheld. I recently have been taking my 24-105mm lens with me more often but it seems like it's impossible for wildlife!

Awesome! :) for part 2, 3 and 4 you can rule out the 85mm and the roulette will pick one of the remaining 3 lenses...and so on and so on untill you've used them all :)

this is the only lesnse that I use, all my money into college i cant get a fancy lense, but i love wildlife photography and hiking, its near impossible to get good wildlife photos with this lense lol, I would love to have a place to put up feeders and do something like this on weekends.

Was it the same camera shooting the stills as the close up video of the birds? And did you control changeing from still to video by the phone, in that case?
The close up video ws shot by GoPro hero 8, and the A7C with a tamron 70-180! :) But it do work to change mode from the phone!
Can you control the focus by this app ? I've tried it with the A7iii but i couldn't adjust the focus
Olle : I have the a7IV and 200-600 and want to know your advise on focus mode if I want to shoot an eagle flying. Should use the "tracking", now that the a7IV has that advanced feature ? Or expand spot, wide, center ? Or do you change mode everytime you are out shooting birds ? OFC if the bird is sitting still I dont need tracking, but just AF-C. Help a neighbor out :D
I honestly haven't really used the tracking feature. Thought I'd give it a try this winter! But I use "Wide" on flying birds. with the AF sensitivity to 5. Works OK! :D
@@ollenilssonen You havent tried it yet ? Im chocked ! Nah joke - yeah Ill try putting it on sensitivity 5. Tried on some sea gulls - not much luck. Most out of focus shots. But im not experienced, maybe thats why. Glad to hear wide is good for birds. Thought the focus area was too big. Cheers (:

@@ollenilssonen My problem with tracking is I tried to catch a racing car. It stuck to the car, but only where I half pressed shutter. It sticks instantly to the point where you half press shutter. Sucks if you aim at car´s front and not on the window. Or bird´s belly and not head. You know what I mean. But good luck - I bet it shouldnt be hard for an experienced photographer like you.
You guys also have problems with Imaging Edge constantly searching for a camera eventhough Ive "force closed" it ? On android.
What bag is that ?! Looking for a bag a little smaller than my Lowepro AW 450 II. Have you tried Samyang´s 85 f1.4 ? Amazing sharp lens and beautiful bokeh for a low price.
IT's the Shimoda Explore v2 35L. Such a great bag. Will probably make a video about it! Haven't tried the Samyang lens though!

Hello olle! I don't have a camera and im wondering what your recommendation would be. I have asked around and gotten recommended a used canon 70d and a 150-600 f5,6~6/7, but after looking at some mirrorles cameras i foundout that they have the same but diffrent specs at a cheaper price, i dont know how it works but a vlogging camera such as the sony zv e10, would it work? i would love to know what you would buy when storting out!
