wd -40 might look suitable temporarily, but it will attract dust particles later. it will become an original greasy look again. wd-40 is hard to remove if you ever want to paint.

Putting that stuff on your windscreen wiper blades is a terrible idea. It smears for about 2 seconds after every wipe and that's a very long time while your driving at night in the rain.
Im going to open a carwash that just sprays a nice coating of WD-40 just for this guy and people alike.
Silicone spray or oil is far superior and lasts much longer. But don't use it anywhere near electrical connectors, brakes or on rubber mats or pedals.
And never use Amor All.

Quite true. WD40 will remove oils from plastic parts. Silicone is far better. Also great for protecting rubber bushes and gaters underneath the car

I think WD-40 is a great product as a lubricant, and in some cases a cleaner, but the smell of it is not good, and there are much better products like Adams, out there to restore and preserve your plastic/rubber parts- also don’t leave a greasy residue.

Actually, WD40 makes a silicone spray too, if you’d prefer.
You will end up replacing the blades and using acetone to get the silicone off the glass for an hour. Trust me.
The only thing you should ever lube locks with is dry graphite powder.

Also Roller Bearings I'll loose lubricant and fail.
I use graphite powder for my locks, lubricates and never gets stuck
@@johnyb874 I am very, very grateful for your comment, I am sure you are a person with a lot of knowledge, I have thought about it well and graphite is a material that sticks like adhesive grease but it is not sticky and metal has no friction, multipurpose spray it lubricates and unblocks but then it dries up and the oil works why it doesn't block but the graphite is ideal for that thank you very much my friend.

Never spray it into your car locks and ignition switch if your car is old, your old key won't work after that, I did this to 2 of my cars and eventually had to change the ignition switch.

Do uszczelek i gum stosuje się smar silikonowy, może być w spreju. Można też najzwyklejszą wazelinę lub glicerynę. Na pewno nie WD40. Najbardziej podobało mi się wycieranie zarosiałej lampy -bez WD40 efekt byłby dokładnie taki sam :)
Ja bym jeszcze na miejscu Gościa zupę na tym ugotował, pachy psikał i zęby umył :). W dużych zakładach produkcyjnych ten preparat jest zakazy ze względu na swój "prozdrowotny" skład, a tu proszę artykuł pierwszej potrzeby. Ale nic to, ważne, że denny filmik zrobiony i kasa wpadnie.

you should wear rubber gloves if you are going to use wd40 that much. it has a strong solvent in it and is not good for prolonged skin contact. check the msds data sheet. the stuff has it's place and is quite useful for some things.

I remember years ago using WD-40 to dry out ignition wires [1970 era] it only lasted a limited amount of time, so just a temporary fix. WD stands for water displacement read the actual msds specifications.
