  • always loved Charlie. those sketches on the Chappelle's Show wasn't a script or idea from anyone else. Dave gave him the platform to tell a real life story and to this day it's fucking legendary. I don't care who his brother mother father is, he's a really good man and he's hilarious

  • Charlie Murphy did his thing. We got to work with him on Power before he passed away. We recognized his voice immediately but couldn’t spot him in the crowd because he looked so different. He lost so much weight and we were really concerned about him. God bless you Charlie

  • I met Charlie when he was on Chapelles show but before the Rick James skit. Noone recognized him but I did and spoke normally to him. He was legitimately happy with almost a shyness. We talked about Miami Beach and where to go etc. He was so happy when I told him that I had worked at the Comedy Corner before. One of the nicest PEOPLE I've ever met.
