I suspect that her "health" has to do with Covid quacksines 🦆 she took. Whoever heard of a performer refusing to tour for their health when they haven't toured in 9 years and are only 30? Sounds like a cover story to me. I looked on her Twitter account and she was filmed getting jabbed and really promoted it.

Very interesting. Late last night, I was on KZhead and went on a _Miley Cyrus journey_ , to have a much clearer vision of her metamorphosis since she debuted as a solo artist. Seeing this GMA post is like "icing on the cake". I've been a fan of Miley's music for a while. She just keeps blossoming with every record, she is amazing.
only down side is i would have loved to hear this album live (never got to see her live) but i'm happy she doing what's best for her

She’s doing the right thing. Touring is so much for an artist - both physically and mentally. Selena Gomez and Rihanna are a few artist that have a more than just their music. There are several artist that can be successful in their own ways. It’s what makes them unique.

I just can't see her saying her Bangerz tour in that time frame did not give her anything. It seems like she wants some people to think her life is that hard. I have always admired her. Personally, I would love to see her play smaller venues and not necessarily tour like artists do these days but 5 or 6 small shows here and there to give the fans a chance to see her again. I think her song writing is amazing. I also think it's wonderful that she puts her health first. I can only imagine how these huge tours must be so hard to maintain when it comes to mental and physical health. Rock on, Miley! We'll be here when you decide you might want to play a few shows 🙂❤️

She had been touring since she was 12. She was doing 55 tour shows within a span of just 3 months when she was young. This was also the time she was filming movie, recording her new song and album simultaneously. Travelling to a new city every other day to do a tour show and then not having a proper childhood must be traumatic and still psychologically haunting. Remember when she was forced to perform everyday in a scorching heat and even not allowed to play a water ride (there is literally a video where she was craving for a water ride but was not allowed to because she had to perform in front of thousands of children in a scorching heat. Those children were however relaxing in resort and having all kinds of fun). She was doing a world tour since she was very young. Compared to Miley, Taylor did have a peaceful childhood away from the spotlight of very demanding audience and exploitative Disney. Remember Miley was working 12+ hours since 12 and was also paid comparately less to her colleagues because she was young and a girl. As for her recent decision to focus on her mental health, it comes from her recent surgery, recent experiences of Latin America tour where her plane almost crashed (her plane was damaged by the lightning during storm), death of her good friend immediately when she landed after her plane accident (she and her friend were performing together in the same tour), her family problems (parents' divorce, her father cheating her mother with a younger girl and not talking to her anymore), her new developed anxiety issues, etc. Despite all, she was travelling to one Latin American country to another and was performing in front of almost 100,000 audiences. Guess, she is right to say that every tour requires an equal amount of recovery period. If you put yourself in her shoes, you will understand her. Also, I'd love to see her not touring rather than seeing her mentally break down, doing drugs or committing suicide like other frustrated celebrities. Her mental health matters the most.

When will the celebrity whining stop? I met a girl at Target who nearly fell asleep behind the register because she had to get up at 5am to be at work by 8am. I wonder how her mental health is. She told me she had to take three buses to get to work. Miley has never had a financial worry in her life and likely never will. Like Sidney Sweeney before her these issues are best handled privately amongst your peers and inner circle because no one wants to hear these folks complain just as no one want to hear millionaires and billionaires complain about taxes. That her fans feel bad for her is text book manipulation because I promise you she doesn’t give a crap about any of you unless there are cameras present. She’s also been singing since she was 12, people love to blame it on smoking but completely forget the fact she’d been doing sold out world tours from age 12-21, singing and recording music for herself and a tv show, and having to use her voice on set acting.
