  • Gerald is a national treasure. The only man on television that no one can understand. We need more people in TV like him.

  • It actually makes more sense that hardly anyone can understand what Gerald is saying when you consider what his job title on the farm is: He's the head of security, so naturally whatever he has to say is encrypted. This is old school, entirely analogue encryption of course, which if anything makes it even more secure - even the most skilled hackers and most powerful computers would struggle to decode Gerald-speak.

  • Jeremy is one lucky man to be welcomed in and be accepted by all those lovely ordinary down to earth people , it is probably the nicest period of his life , he is good for them and they are good for him and Chuck an Irish woman into the mix and they are all happy as pigs in shit. Lovely stuff.

  • So, I live in Spain, but originated from the UK. Spent the last 33 years in America. I thought - based on my history - that I could understand most English speakers. Then the head of security came along. My TV set here has close captaining based on speech to text technology, but sadly, even it gave up tonight. At one point it translated him as "music!"

  • Those hedge cutters are great but why don’t they make brushes to sweep thorns off the road I have had a huge thorn in a new car tyre yards out of town it was repaired. The hardest bike ride I know goes up and down the same hill a Sutton bank multiple times. I once went up the first hill they were sweeping it with brooms which was brilliant- I have never had a puncture and I started doing that ride in 1980. I wasn’t impressed when the Tour de France came and there were so many retirements- they are pros it’s only my hobby. I was told never to do it again in 2017 by the doctor even if I walked up the hills. My electric bike will do it but I have had a few electrical failures including melted wires but not on that moor thankfully!! Quarter of a penny a mile and no tax test insurance or registration perhaps I should buy one instead of converting ordinary bikes They are about £2500 as opposed to about £600 you would hope they were better 😂😂😂
