Honestly, we love RC models from RC action homemade! In today's video we bring you a representation of one of the most commonly used transport machines in mining.
First hint: It has a payload capacity of up to 400 tons (363 metric tons), making it capable of hauling huge amounts of material in a single load.
Second hint: it is huge in size, with dimensions typically in excess of 25 feet (7.6 meters) in height, 50 feet (15.2 meters) in length and 32 feet (9.8 meters) in width.
Answer: you'll have to watch the video to find out.
Now, knowing this, you'll be blown away by the end result!

    • I’m begging you, please, stop with all the freaken facts about everything. Just talk about what’s actually happening in the video!!! You put words in front of the screen, and our brains Need to read it. And it’s some stupid info about oils or how gears work?? Yeah. Thanks. I totally didn’t want to actually watch what is happening in the video, and instead needed to read facts instead. And we have no idea if the next caption will be important, or something like “as you see, the body of the machine serves an important purpose”. Or “ body panels reduced drag”. I PROMISE you, not a single person in the history of this machine, ever, had cared about the aerodynamics of a machine that never goes above a persons running speed. This isn’t a high school essay. You don’t need to type words for the sake of typing words

  • Once again, this young mans' ingenuity knocks it out of the park. If I had one criticism of the build, it would be the exposed gearsets - all manner of dirt and debris can easily impair their function. A fabricated box, with sides, a bottom and removeable top would have been a better option, given that the model, as with the real thing, is operating in a very unforgiving environment.
