The manually turning on/off gadget system would be a great buff for a defender like Melusi, her gadget is a free 10 points once you’re in range of its affect so I think this’ll be a great buff for operators like Melusi.
but you have to be so close to her gadget as an attacker to trigger it. It seems like it would be kind of pointless to me. What are the odds that you're gonna get to activate it at perfect times
@@Talisman09what if it's in common plant spots and u turn it on as they're planting, so they can't run away immediately after planting. I think it would work for Melusi perfectly

@J Black84 yea you either have a very short term and by that I mean instant term, if you simply want to know someone has touched on that area Or you use it pressure and lock down an area where they can't just casually look away to shoot it

@Hutchyy fr he's prob gonna get nerfed. They thought the way that Lesion gave info was unfair but gave Fenrir gadgets that he can see through walls AND tells him callout locations
@@Hutchyy Yep, Ubi balancing doesn't make sense. Same goes for Zofia nerf after one bullshit wave of reddit butthurt when someone clutched with self-revive in high stakes match. Now everyone get self revive from Rook armor, Finka (herself as well while being downed) or Thunderbird. Still Zofia hasn't seen her passive come back

I think an interesting approach to your "themed/focused" operator videos would be where at the end you show yourself playing against those and how to get out of certain situations

I think they need to limit him in some way. Like making the smoke less obstructing or for less time. Or maybe just give him fewer gadgets. Idk, he just seems extremely strong.
I mean Macy actually has the brain to use him properly. I have seen terrible Fenrir players and good ones. Which implies fenrir is balanced. If he was too strong then everyone would be good with him.

@@alexv5581 That's not a good indicator of whether something is balanced or not. But its tricky to balance characters that are stronger in higher skilled players hands than a low skilled one but if a character clearly has a lot of advantages that far outweigh the costs they need to get toned down a bit.

That really reminds me how I use to play lesion back when he first came out. back when his traps stayed on the UI until they where triggered. I remember getting a handfull of wall bangs doing that.

If Lesion lost his ability to see his Gu Mines through walls, I feel like Fenrir shouldn't have it.
I like them being like super buffed prox alarms I think they should mess with the blinding effect so they are mostly just information
fenrir's gadget was designed with that being a cornerstone of his ability lesions wasn't and made him overtuned as he was able to be both a trap, op and intel op capable of wall bangs fenrirs have a much larger AOE than a gue mine so setting up wallbangs with his gadget requires you to exploit specific geometry of the map.

It's a weird spot its like strong and can yet be not impactful My guess is they will balance the number of active mines down by 1 He will still maintain the same activation and deactivation speed since its the key feature of his defense concept, fast switch of active defense A different way to work him around is you can activate them and it last a certain amount of time being a detector before switching off to recharge Gas maintain for 5 sec unless the enemy is no longer detected then mine will switch off to recharge So this will play into the dynamic of you either spread your defense wide but thin Or bolster it narrow but hard to pass. So if the guy baited the gas out safely and ran to let it deactivate, Fenrir has to activate the 2nd one he placed at the same spot immediately to regain information and territorial control

Aside from the fact Fenrir is a Great Op on his own, he benefits and makes other operators great as well! With that being said i think he’s a bit too strong with the affect of the FNAT still in use even outside of the range. Id like it that he’d get the nerf lesion did in which you cant tell which FNAT is active & affecting the enemy.
I agree - so far my only major complaint is how long the effect lasts once you leave it's AoE. I would imagine this is the first thing they nerf if/when they do revisit him
