This thing doesn’t even rate in the top ten largest ice breakers in the world at 16,000 tons. The largest in the world is twice as big at 33,000 tons.

If its biggest in USA that doesn`t mean its biggest in the world. That is size we use here in Finland at 60`s. We had cruiser Finnjet, it had A1 icebreaker status and 75.000 horsepower turbine engines. Some 1500+ passengers and 350 cars. Cruiser and icebreaker. Now its demolished, too small for cruise and too expensive to use as icebreaker. End of November 2023 we launch world biggest cruiser, Icon of the Seas, buyer is Caribbean Cruises. But in ships, its not about size. Its about quality and safety of passengers as well as crew.
