- Pom squads are a lot like dance teams. Only they ALWAYS use poms and dance teams won't always use them

- This isn’t an expensive program for schools to have. All I know is every public school in Maryland including this one has Pom squads And Maryland schools are shit

- cheer programs in my district are mostly student and parent paid for 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ and i live in the richest district in the state

It must be an honor.😔 Update, 1 year later: I didn’t get into the team and I became an all star (competitive) cheerleader. I’m trying out again this year, I have a good feeling about this year! Edit: some time later, I made it in! Finally after years of training I made the cheer team! And it’s not that much of an honor, it’s just a fun sport :D

1:25 the girls in the white uniforms are cheerleaders, this is POM SQUAD, they are kinda like dance team. Cheerleaders cheer on the sidelines during a football game, and do stunts and yell cheers, these girls are performing a dance routine during halftime while the cheerleaders and football players get a break
