  • I like Chael cuz you can tell he a straight up business man. He'll talk mad shit before a fight so he can sell mad tickets and bring eyes to the sport, but at the end of every fight, he never shits on his opponents. He gives credit where it's due and he goes about doing his thing. Respect.

    • +Taj ThiaraComedy It effects everyone differently. Some people take a single blow to the melon and are never the same, others can take a beating and function throughout their entire life. It is overall best not to take blows to the melon if possible however. I personally knew two top Boxers who were punch drunk, it is beyond sad to be around someone like that in person.

  • That was one of the most honest after-fight interviews ever. I don't know why more people don't understand that, win or lose, if you maintain your dignity and show a little class it goes a lot farther than the event itself ever could. This is the reason Chael is still so popular (as well as Bisping).

  • Bisping is a very different person outside of the ring and interviews, he is like the British version of Chael, they both talk crap but it sells fights and it's funny to watch

    • I think they also have different styles of trash talking. Chael is of course more of a WWE heel character while Bisping has more of a authentic, British humor (or at least to some people can appear more authentic). That said I love both fighters and both are very funny.

  • at the start of that interview, this is the first time i see chael being that honest. he (and bisping as well) are so good at selling their fights to the audience but i think they are way more humble and quiet in their private life. great to see that difference. i think i'm the only guy to like both of them a lot :D

  • This guy was really funny. I wasn’t the biggest MMA fan, had a roommate that watched it too much and I wasn’t that interested. But some of these characters are gold. I told the guy recently “hey I see why you liked all that MMA stuff.” I thought this guy actually took himself seriously and that he wasn’t basically playing a bit of a character. He’s hilarious

  • Always funny when people don't understand the "never lost a round thing". He isn't lying. At this point in his career, he never lost a single round of a fight that went to decision. He was always very good at scoring points. He only lost once in his career to a decision I believe and that was well after this.
