    • Men don't really start losing their voice until they are in their 80's/90's as long as they keep using it. Women lose it so much earlier even when they use it regularly. It's really not fair.

His son fatefully encounter on the Voice the legend Sir Tom, for whom this piece was written, and they instantly perform with no rehearsal at all, yet with absolute amazement, as it was meant to be. This beautiful song became a true legacy from Lonnie not only to Peter and Sir Tom Jones, but to all of us who were mesmerized by their magical performance. I always sang along with his songs. No matter what his past was, he only had one love. I could feel it when he sang this song this time, cracking in his voice (and that's not because of age) and the tears. I've listened to this over 20 times and still cry.

The contestant was a half-step behind while Jones had the band knowing what was going on because he set the tone, so to speak, just my own thoughts on it. • That wasn't an audition, that was a pure magical moment. As I'm typing, he said the words I was going to type so I guess I won't do it. That had me in tears. I had a crush on Tom Jones back in the early 70's. His career was hot at the time, and he proved here that he still has that same beautiful voice from so long ago.
