My 3rd rug tufting video Thank goodness I had some thrifted yarn to use for the small grey parts. I underestimated how difficult carving the thin black lines would be but finally got the hang of it. Can't wait to go see this movie!

While you’re tufting, are you single strand or double and does your gun offer two different modes??
Hey Quaishaaaa, I'm double strand tufting the entire time unless I accidentally step on the string and yank one of them out, which has happened a couple times lol. My gun does loop pile and cut pile but I'm using cut pile mode during the video. Hope that helps! ☺️

Of course no problem at all! So some of the main things I've learned is that trimming on the frame can help with clean lines, and doing a small space between colors helps get crisper lines. Also when carving swiping the fibers back and forth really shows where you still need to carve to get better definition. Seriously any other questions feel free to ask 😊

I use a heater because it’s so cold where I am, but I’m the summer just a fan works.
