The Dreame Z10 Pro is a mid to premium range robot vacuum and mop, with object avoidance and an auto-empty station. We found it excelled on pet-haired - possibly the best on the market, despite the affordable price point.

Thank you for this, helped me make up my mind - think we will definitly get one. While we have hardwood floors, not interested in mopping, none of the midrange options look worth the hassle of changing the mop cloths, loading the tray etc. The huge 4L auto clean station is a big draw, the less time I spend empting bins and buying consumables, the better. But the key thing for me is your detail of the long hair handling, most impressive - we have pets and long haired humans shedding all over the place and continually cleaning brushes is a PITA (Currently have a Roborock S5). Thats it quieter and has object detection is good, like to see if its practical to run it on a schedule round 5am. One downside I've seen from other reviewers is that its not so good at picking up grit from hard floors, especially kittly litter. From forum discussion the problem seems to be the leading flaps on the main roller housing where the issue is, they push large particles ahead of the bot, people "modified" theirs by cutting them off :) and said it greatly improved particale pickup. I might experiment with that. Cheers - a Kiwi in Oz.
Hi I really liked your video. How does this robot do on rugs? I have a medium pile black rug, typical fuzzy bathroom rugs and a fringe low pile rug. If this is unsuccessful, do you have a better suggestion for light mopping, vacuuming more often and long hair?
Tossing up between this and the Ecovacs Deebot T9+. Which would you recommend between the two? Thanks in advance
Hey! Great review, means a world to us! :) Quick question - we have a Bernese mountain dog that drools (leaves smudges all over the floors) and sheds a lot of pretty long hair. You can see both our problem and our goal here. :) We've watched your video on Roborock S7+ and we really like the active mopping feature on that model, it also has fully rubber brushes that seem to be doing a great job with the hair on the floor. We were pretty sold on that one until we ran into this video on your channel. Can you please give us your opinion on this matter - which one of the two would you say is better for our situation? The mop lift is not as important to us since we only have one small carpet in our house, but the active moping seems to be a really great feature. Thanks in advance! :)
Sorry, I missed this as I’ve been travelling. Definitely the Dreame if dog hair is an issue as the S7+ is average on pet hair compared with this :) the mop is better on the S7 though so you’ll need to decide your priority.
Does this vacuum have to poop avoidance feature?

assuming you meant to say S7 maxv plus and not X7, the diff between plus and ultra is the docking station. The Plus has self-emptying bin capability and that's it. The Ultra adds to that self-refilling water to the vacuum tank and self-washing the mop.
@@xeon2k8 perfect explanation, thanks! On the European and Oceanian version of the plus base the dock is also bagless, but the ultra always requires a bag. That’s pretty much it. :) I know Ariel already said, but just to emphasise to make it 100% clear: the S7 MaxV, S7 MaxV Plus, S7 MaxV Ultra are the exact same robot, just with different docks.

How does this compare to the ECOVACS X1 plus?
I've found the Z10 to be slightly better as a vacuum, but the Ozmo Pro mop on the X1 Plus will be better than the mop on this. I'd prefer the app experience here too though. They're fairly comparable so it probably comes down to price :)

The advantage of being first! I really hope they bring out a robot with LiDAR in future. :)
