  • Awesome effort mate. Only discovered your channel in 2023 and the fun, wholesome, positive nature of it restores a little faith in humanity and the internet i guess. All the best for your 2024 goals and thank you for spreading positivity and kindness mate. Ps only learnt how to solve a cube recently so what you and your kids can do is remarkable. Good on you mate.

  • Congratulations, Maybie next year you can smash through even more of your goals. I only started cubing in late August and therefore haven't seen a lot of your videos but the ones I have seen were all really fun and helped me stay motivated. Your channel really helped me avhive some of my personal goals, like getting a sub 30 single. Thank you so much, keep doing what you are doing and hopefully 2024 will be just as awsome as this year❤

  • I can’t believe how much you have grown. You probably haven’t completed all of your goals that you haven’t achieved, but it’s still a big accomplishment for the goals you have, and from almost the last 3 years, it has been very wholesome and enjoying to see your progress and watch your channel. I hope you complete your unfinished goals in 2024.

  • I decided one day in April 2023 that I would properly learn how to do 3bld. 8 months later, I now hold 5th in Thailand with a sub-1 minute single. This wasn't even on my list of cubing goals for the year, so I'm very proud of what I achieved!

  • Thank you for inspiring me to cube since 2019, you are the best Youcuber, your personality and videos are wholesome and funny. It’s cool that all comps I go to are ones where you keep having PR’s. Thanks for being a significant part of my cubing life, and life in general.

  • You inspired me Tingman! I just had my 2nd cubing competition at school few weeks ago... (my 1st comp ever was almost 5 years ago.) I quit cubing for months so I just got back 2 weeks before the competition. The day of the competition, I struggled a lot especially with nervousness, my hands were shaking and couldn't focus well during inspection. I already know full oll and pll, but literally sucked during inspection (esp. cuz my hands are shaking). I was the second place on our grade level (since I'm still a student. My opponent won and honestly, I'm very happy for him. Hopefully in my future competitions I can do better! (Btw, I'm currently sub 20, but I get 12-15 seconds solve sometimes). ❤

  • In 2023 I went to my first ever competition, which was scarier and more fun than I thought! I got a sub 20 average in 3x3, and I made it to the second round in pyraminx! And I have to thank YOU for that because the videos of you and Olor solving pyraminx inspired me to practice pyraminx and get decent at it!

  • I started cubing in April 2023, I just learned how to solve a cube and I didnt know anything about speed cubing at the time. One day I took my cube to collage and someone surprised me by solving it fast I asked him how did he do it and that how ive got into speed cubing. about a week later I was watching cubing videos and KZhead recommended one of your videos. I found your channel and kept watching videos because you showed that its never too late to learn, that cubing might be hard but its worth it, and many more. Thank you for showing how fun cubing is and showing that anyone can cube at any age ! ( I also hope we will see more Tingman tutorials in 2024 )

  • In 2023, my main goal was to get a sub-10 solve. I knew that I could do it, but towards the end of this year, I was beginning to lose hope. In November, I got a lucky PLL skip that was not only sub 10- but sub 9! It was an 8.79 second solve. I went into my last comp of the year in December assuming my PR single was unbeatable, but then I got a full step 8.56 second solve! It also counted two tens in the average and got me an 11.1 avg, which was PR. In 2024, I know that I can get a sub-10 avg, too (I get them quite often at home) and I am excited to see how next year goes!

  • I started comps this year, so literally anything would have been an accomplisment lol that being said, I am really happy about two things lately. First is that I was able to get a successful 3BLD single last month. Also, I barely squeezed in my first 4x4 average yesterday (Dec 30th). The 4x4 cutoffs of the comps I went to kept getting lower and lower, so even though I was improving it kept being out of reach 😅

  • I had 4 main goals this year. 1. Make it to an official competition. Not only did I get to do that, but I made the cut off times on 4x4, and made second round on 3x3 with 2 solves being sub 20 which was another mini goal of mine. 2. Always a 3x3 goal. Goal was to get an avg. of 5 under 20 seconds, and to keep whittling down my single time. 13.08 single, and 17.23 avg feels pretty good. 3. Get a sub 1 minute 4x4 solve. Currently sitting at a 50.42 single, and have gotten a handful of sub min solves. 4. Get a sub 2 minute 5x5 solve. Just barely squeaked that out with a 1:58. All in all, it was a successful year cubing wise. On to 2024!

But in Davis Fall 2023 my 3rd comp, I got a 9.98 3x3 solve and was so happy about that. Although now I think I can beat it in 2024 for sure. It's I think 12 days I started cubing and just today I got a 1.44.74 and feel really proud. But I do have a disability on my middle finger on my left hand so I was wondering if you can make a video without using it (or other fingers) and see if you can still have the same times, I'm really curious to know if is not gonna make a big difference in the future for me. Also if one day I would practice more one handed I will must use my right hand and I see why you cubers say it's easier with the left. Happy new year to all your family!!

  • (Yes I know I’m late to this lmao) In 2023, I’m glad I got to go to more competitions and break so many PRs (especially the 3x3 PR average and single which I wanted to break that whole year, and getting the 11.55 single and 14.81 average in 2023 made me really happy. [though now in 2024 I broke those two PRs with a 10.96 single and 13.49 average]). The “1,000 Solves” video you made inspired me to keep competing in comps as well!

  • i started cubing mid july this year, so i didnt think of setting any goals lol your video inspired me to set goals for 2024 my 10 goals 1)sub 15 average(i average 20-22) 2)nr10 or better for clock(i average sub 12 in a bad day, and nobody in my country does clock that much, nr is 3.45 and nr50 is 14+ seconds) 3)sub 1:10 for 4x4(i average 1:35) 4)finish learning full oll, coll, winter variation and oh pll(im already almost done with full oll and i know a few oh pll algs since i like RUD algs for 2 handed) 5)sub 40 for sq 1(i learnt sq 1 a week ago and i average 1:10) 6)sub 2min for megaminx(i average 2:30) 7)learn at least 30 cool S slice algs(i mean, both my main u perms are the RUS u perms, and i have one done in 0.6) 8)bring my pb to sub 10(currently 12.77) 9)learn cmll and eolr for roux 10)learn full pll for 4x4(i already know full pll, so 22 more algs) im going to save this video to my playlist so i will come back next year and update(if i remember lol)

  • I actually first started cubing in May, but started to take it seriously in late June, and I achieved a 13.85 second average and a sub-10 single🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 which was a 9.89 FULL STEP!!🥳🥳(which I only got like two weeks ago) But sadly have not been able to compete in an official comp, since I stay in South Africa, the nearest comps are a 5 hour drive, and only happen 4 times a year, i could not go😢. I missed the first two, cause I have not started cubing by the, I missed the 3rd, because I only found out that there are cube comps the weekend the 3rd one happened, and the last one, I could not compete because it is expensive to drive stay and eat far away for three days. But anyways, not sad about it, because now I know that I’ll be better when I get the opportunity to go, and because I got a sub-10 single. Lastly, really love your very WHOLESOME cubing content, which is always a joy to watch. Like every time you post or even on an old video, I always get happy without realising, just because you are happy! I wish you a very happy and blessed 2024🥳🥳🥳 Love and support from a 13 year old male(almost turning 14, in january) from South Africa❤️🥳😎🇿🇦
