Country: United Kingdom
Language: English
Release Date: 1 May 2012 (UK)
Filming Location: London, England, UK
Storyline:
97% owned present serious research and verifiable evidence on our economic and financial system. This is the first documentary to tackle this issue from a UK-perspective and explains the inner workings of Central Banks and the Money creation process. When money drives almost all activity on the planet, it's essential that we understand it. Yet simple questions often get overlooked, questions like; where does money come from? Who creates it? Who decides how it gets used? And what does this mean for the millions of ordinary people who suffer when the monetary, and financial system, breaks down? Produced by Queuepolitely and featuring Ben Dyson of Positive Money, Josh Ryan-Collins of The New Economics Foundation, Ann Pettifor, the "HBOS Whistleblower" Paul Moore, Simon Dixon of Bank to the Future and Nick Dearden from the Jubliee Debt Campaign.
Reviews:
"Simple facts described in a plain and simple manner : the building stone of economy is how money is created. And, most importantly, debt is explained : that there is no economy w/out debt. Debt is core. It's all about the control of debt, and who "owns" debts.
As is, debt is as important a concept, as creation of money is. And this is not at all about some 3% of coin & paper money in the system, it's essentially about some 97++% of 'virtual' money being send back and fro. And about a specific type of money that only exsists and can be used with, for instance, the Bank of England -- and nowhere else.
A complicated system which evolved from simple facts when law decided to forbid private banks to issue their own paper & coin money in the 19th century.
But then somehow, and it's not a mystery, private banks still keep on issuing money (tho not their own paper & coin notes)
and that is, in essence, what this doumentary is about : the how, when and why.
A must watch, to be honest and a 10-star docu if only the female narrator's voice would not have been mixed in in such a shallow manner (often too hard too grasp; a pity) : it deserves a clear firm straight sound given that the documentary itself is profoundly clear." -Written by artiszt on IMDb.com

Investing in the financial markets is a grand choice I made. Great video! Thanks for sharing! Very inspiring! I love this.

  • Watching 'The System of Money' was like peeling back the layers of financial mystique to reveal the beating heart of our economic system. From the enigmatic dance of money creation to the haunting echo of debt, every frame whispered truths that echoed far beyond the confines of the screen. It's not just a documentary; it's a journey into the labyrinth of modern finance, leaving me both enlightened and entranced.

  • The financial system has been artificially pumped for over a decade to ensure big pockets were lined; and now those same hands will make a fortune in the largest transfer of wealth in human history by shorting it on the way down. Inflation does have a roll, but that's to keep everyone panicked, and focused on their bills and expenses, rather than focus on the capital crimes of politicians and corporations,I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $338k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market??

These days, it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or hold. That's where my advisor comes in, to help me with entry and exit points , I've accrued over $337k from an initially stagnant reserve of $148K all within 18 months.

    • That's why cryptocurrency was created at the first place. Cryptocurrency was supposed to be money that everyone can spend but because of the manipulation it becomes worse The benefit of UFC is more than how I comprehend it, just know that as I'm telling you some of the benefit of UFC. First, UFC is the world's first hybrid cryptocurrency that only rise in value. Now you can finally put your money in a particular place that is secure and safe than any other bank or cryptocurrency. UFC has come to give peace of mind to everyone because in the crypto world there is manipulation which causes a lot of coin to fluctuate. Cryptocurrency supposed to be use as money at the very start but because of the manipulation it becomes an investment. Now UFC gives everyone the opportunity to put their money in a secure place, also with free transaction. Now value is given to money by you using UFC. If you look at it, fiat currency is backed up by debt but UFC is backed up by people and people are the real value of UFC. UFC also defeat inflation though Bitcoin was able to solve that problem to some extent but UFC defeated it completely. Inflation can't rule when everyone is using UFC. The most benefiting part for you is that your money is decentralized and also it rises in value per person that joins the system. The most important part of all is that people will also gain their power through their agreement of using UFC as money. UFC is money that grows in value not an investment. I want you to know this that paper money is a dying business, Get into UF ecosystem which gives peace of mind to everyone. UFC➡️Abundance coin 🔥💯

In privatizing, people who work hard will finally get what they want or dream of. This will keep people more enthusiam. That's why it worked better. Just imagine in some communist countries you promise to work 1 year for a tv, an electric pen, a motorcycle, and a refrigerator, and after 20 years you still got nothing. lol It is nice that they still haven't pissed on your face after all the lies. lol

  • Fantastic documentary. Many books out there covering this topic but I notice there’s not a lot of information on what an individual can do to combat the system. Guess we’re all just slaves until someone figures it out and enlightens us all.

    • The stock market is a complex system that is influenced by a variety of factors, including economic indicators, political events, and global trends. The relationship between policies and the stock market can be complex and multifaceted, and it can take time for the full effects of policies to be reflected in market trends. Therefore, it is possible that policies implemented in the past may have a "lagged effect" on the stock market, as their full impact may not be felt until later on.

  • Thanks Neil, you answered the one question that has been constantly on my mind. I have two small personal loans at a fixed rate and actually the interest was paid up front. I have been trying to figure out if I should keep increasing my assets or pay off the loans. I can easily pay off the loans in two years at low monthly rate so I am going to continue to buy more assets knowing that they will be less expensive now than in the future.

The book Make America Financially Great explains the sections of that Act that holds the tricks they built-in so they become infinitely-rich by loaning citizens Worthless-Money-Made-Out-of-Nothing as bank account balance increases.

  • The economy is already in shreds sadly 😔 . I used to think everybody went broke during the Great Depression and other major crashes but they didn’t… Some made millions, I also thought everybody went out of business during these times but they didn’t, some went into business, there's always depression/recession for some people and there's always a good time for others, it's all about perspective.

  • Very bad feeling about this documentary. First mistake I spotted at 38:00 - the French government sent a war ship to exchange the currency to gold - and did it successfully! The next day, the USD was taken off the gold standard. It is a small one but makes we wonder what else is plain wrong/misleading. Also, it seems that they try to manipulate the viewer in some way. That documentary is not neutral - it tries to play with your mind. Keep this in mind when watching.
