Don’t come at me but, I dare say Kingsman is better than James Bond or John Wick or any spy action movie ever made. For me anyways. The camerawork and fighting sequences and choice of music and songs just blew me away.

I wish that spy movie directors take note of the amazingly fluid fight scenes, and the fact that they do not just do hundreds of jump cuts during a fight or use motion blur to make things seem more intense. Absolute hands down best fight scenes I've ever watched in any movie, and of course the amazing storytelling and journey is the wonderful cherry on top :)

This movie did so much for the Spy Fiction genre, it's incredible. The sassy and uncompromising tone, the next-level Action scenes that combined classic action movie combat with Stylish flair, the genuinely good morals that come from it, an outstanding performance by Colin Firth and a very inspiring "rough diamond"-type young Protagonist. And then there's the Sequel. We don't talk about the Sequel.

What makes Kingsman so great isn't the amazing fight choreography and action scenes. Its how the story place more importance on the need for growth and development. Instead of giving the viewer a fully fledged spy, we get to see their journey from delinquent to competent individual. We are allowed to believe we could be the main character and that's the point where it beats most spy movies. Then they add theme songs like this and just like that, we have a classic.
