Pretty much, but as the song goes on, the princesses are breaking down stereotypical walls. At first, the Queen was nice and everyone expected that, but as time goes on, the princesses are doing everything they can to be either the same/different from their mother. The last queen with the son decided that she didn’t need to continue the hurtful and mean rule that her mother had before her. So in the end, it’s showing that she’s happy being herself, and she’s happy not ruining her sons life. If that sounded weird, I’m sorry. I did my best to explain.

I really loved this! 💙✨ I relate to this so much! I now have two boys, coz the first child in the family was always girl, my great-grand mother was the first child, same with my great grandmother, Auntie & Mom, and me. Also, and In honored to break the generational trauma, especially the unreachable expectation, I learned a lot from my childhood, some I adopt with my parenting but most of it was trash so I throw it away 😅

I really loved this! 💙✨ I relate to this so much! I now have two boys, coz the first child in the family was always girl, my great-grand mother was the first child, same with my great grandmother, Auntie & Mom, and me. Also, and In honored to break the generational trauma, especially the unreachable expectation, I learned a lot from my childhood, some I adopt with my parenting but most of it was trash so I throw it away 😅
