“i faked an art gallery” *creates a completely legit art gallery*
And thats art 😅😐🤔
@@dannybrownno1 euh yeah and it's beautiful
@@aqualy6322 it is indeed, it makes you think more and its just great 👍
Technically it’s art, everything is art these days even a two year olds painting can be 😂 And a bunch on them were actually quite nice
No literally not, it’s fake
Plot twist: that's how every art gallery is being arranged.
The reality is that it's not even a lie
@Rose Anne Boushardno they're doodles
@@nyquilrq3254 And doodles are still art.
Actually, I liked some of the paintings. Like the blue circle canvas one, the ballet dancers and the water melon. I think they would more deserve to be in a gallery than a lot of other stuff I saw in gallerys before
@Rose Anne Boushard Right? This is literally art. Half way through I was thinking "Wait, so you got a ton of people together to paint and they had a blast and you created an entire experience which they and we can enjoy, and you don't think that's art?"
As an artist, I want you to know that what you did was make art, develop a collective of other artists, hire a gallery, market your event, and host a group show. (and documented the process) In an effort to avoid being an artist you proved you were one already. Nice.
Yeah true ! All of those were actual art in my opinion . And tbh they would look really cool in my living room lol
I was thinking the same thing!
Indeed! Organizing, management and marketing are art it self.
Agreed
of course it was areal art gallery and real art; but she is clickbaiting and trolling
MODERN art in a nutshell: Marketing: 97.5% Skill: 2.5%
Got a bit too much skill there.
No skill at all. You could literally take a dum,p on a canvas and sell it for millions.
Not true.
If you mean some of the arts in gallerys, yes, but most modern art like digital or trafitional or whatever art dtill rake a lot of skill
@@windjager2177 Those must be stupid who puts skills. Marketing rules.
You didnt fake anything You literally just created art and presented and sold it.
Lenzon yeah the art of marketing is the real deal behind all of this..
Real. One could make the argument that the pieces she presented have only increased in cultural value because of the statement the exhibit made by way of curatorial art.
yes
The only art that can be called "Fake" is art that copies another art piece pretending to be the original. Otherwise, it's always real.
Thank you for dismantling the whole thing, @Lenzon!
Nowadays it’s not even about the art itself but who made it.
Anna Oikarinen Art is a massive tax write off. Wealthy people will buy an art piece for cheap (for a few thousand dollars) then they will ‘donate’ it to a an art gallery. The gallery will value it at millions. That then becomes a tax write off.
The rose painting is literally over 9k on the website now xD
So true.
Lol it’s always been that way
lol that’s the point
As an art student, I see there are some pieces looked really catchy and nice. Even maybe some painters who didn’t consider them professional artists, they had talent and created beautiful paintings.
Which probably shows how liberal artists are...

When you see the original 'cathedra' in RL you'll understand. That whole painting is made with a single hair paintbrush and dozens of shades of blue. When you sit down in front of it and watch it for a longer time it seems like big blue clouds moving across the canvas. Really worth watching.
Faked an art gallery in London and actually sold paintings: STONKS

I agree. That was an art gallery with one exception. Prices.
The thing that’s funny is that she thought she built a fake art gallery, when in fact she made a real art gallery exhibit by accident.
not when you're not selling art , its just a farce , so she put the right title, is that people think they get things when they know shit :D that's why crazy moronic people buy shit for millions and real art stays in the streets.

Umm is it just me or is that so similar to my comment check it if u want I put it up first

Huh? I saw it immediately.
This just made me realize that absolutely anyone these days can have an art gallery and make money out of it
Yeah, but not alot of money, your expenses on the art supplies and the gallery itself would be greater than your profit which literally means you're just spending a ton money instead of earning, unless you're a real and well known artist.
Anyone can be an artist as long as they pour their heart into their art
Then for sure you can do it right now. Do it.
@@adel.9424 "pour their heart into the art" no it doesn't work like that. You can have the talent of dali but if you are not famous you won't sell sh*t. There is literally an "artist" who taped a banana to a wall and some rich id, iot bought it for 150k. Modern art has nothing to do with art. I spilled some coffee earlier over some blank paper, interested in buying? I think a reasonable starting point would be 1mill. upwards.
@@reikeon4826 My requirement for art is that it has a meaning a purpose, a thought behind it. Accidents can be nice. But they're not art.
@@johnmark6628 Sure, like the splattered paint. The meaning was that they did whatever they wanted because they knew it didn't matter. The purpose was to be used to sell at an art gallery. There was no thought process involved in some of those paintings.

They don't have a choice anyway after being conned :p
Okay but your missing the part where she proved that art doesn't have to have deep meaning behind it for pretentious people to buy it.... which makes the art community look bad in my opinion. Matter of fact the most impressive thing here besides the fact it's an awesome prank. Is the fact she did all the marketing herself
If any of the youtubers or artists makes it big in life, they get potentially 10x to 100x ROI. "Yes, yes, that's an early Taz piece from 2019 who I had the eye to spot when she was just a youtuber"

@helena I do art myself im 23. Not professionally by any means. I'm apart of this community as well. Neither of us doing art makes our opinions any more important then the other. The general public sees abstract bs and thinks badly of us and the community as a whole. Not everyone does. But a lot of them do. Just my opinion and what I've seen and experienced so far.
the irony is that, thinking you're satirical, you dont even realize that you actually made art
This is so funny and makes me angry at the same time :') People being oblivious to the fact that once you made art, you are an artist and what you did is art, no matter what it is. There is no "fake" or "real" art. That's what the whole past era of modern art gifted us, the ability to just make art for the sake of art, just being able to enjoy the process and see whatever we want in a piece.
Unic you perfectly described my feelings towards this video.
Exactly. I couldn't handle the irony past the halfway point. I watched the rest of the entire thing thinking "Wait... You're making art to prank people who enjoy art? You sure got 'em."

Fighting cancer is way more important than the occasional artist feeling "they're making a joke out of precious me!" - also, most people can manage to make ONE piece of art, the problem is to repeat the process wo just copying other artists. The Degas and the Picassos and such. And, of course, minimalism. Anyhow, great job, big fun, and you all seem to be such nice people. Keep going. Thumbs up.

As a modern art historian I feel like telling you that the value of modern art usually is in the concept behind the graphic and yet some paintings are nonsense... People always say looking at modern paintings that they could do that but the point is that the artist actually did it, they don't. The fact that you went all the way through this project to prove a point could be considered art itself, you created designs, involving people, organized a space to create an illusion. This is incredible and beautiful. Differently from others you actually did it! Taz, this is smart and impressive, I loved it! 💗💗

Modern Art in a nutshell: You: "Ya I could have done that" Modern Artist: "Ya, but you didn't"
I often feel like that's not a fair argument, there are tons of recycled concepts in modern art, people dont just paint a square because it takes zero effort and the only way you can get an emotion from it is by reading the title or exerting pretentious perspective. If painting a singular color on a canvas counts as art, what makes that different from encountering the common color In nature and feeling the same things. Wheres the value in a white canvas covered in white paint, no texture or anything fancy, just plain white, they could've just not painted it at all, I could've just looked at a piece of copy paper. I don't expect every artist to create complex hyperealistic portraits, but at least something that shows they really care about the arts and aren't trying to make quick cash, theres beautiful abstract out there, and then you have blank canvases and bananas taped on walls.
@@frostdragon_7887 I definitely agree, I mean that modern art should not be made by its easy, but for the hidden meaning. But the banana tree..... lol
I mean it’s kind of like an emoji. And emoji takes so much effort and time, but it comes out so simple yet admired by so many people. 😂😂
There’s actually an art piece that says that
Yeah...I didn't because it's trash.
You actually have some amazing talented artists in your group!
Great work donating to the cancer organization. It means a lot to many people

That’s the spirit! Have an idea and make it happen - really a great initiative. Some of the paintings looked really good! You have some real talented friends!
I’m starting to think I won’t be a starving artist after all.
Same
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Just do as many of this things as you can.
Passpartou referance
unfortunately the reason these paintings cost so much is because of the pretentious circles that the artists are a part of. the fine arts scene really just has to do with rich people making investments than if people like the artwork
Taz: oh imma fake art Artist: am I a joke to you? Bob Ross: I'm offended Me: ohhh I'll try it too

explicitly selling for fundraising for an established NGO is completely different than selling to make a living tho

Rubertha you weak and embarrassing as fuck if you can’t do something you say you’re gonna do 😬

Rubertha It’s more of a commitment and living life
S ALI that was just unnecessary
Amazing idea and glad it turnout fine! I absolutely love it! Research...research....research and you did exactly that 😉 Thank you!!!
if this isn't art i don't know what counts as art... i mean, this is a great gallery, not much people would actually do this and that's what art is all about, the small portion of people that actually turns an idea into a reality
The irony on this whole thing is, it actually is art in itself.
It's definitely a lot more thoughtful than most of the art she showed that were actually worth millions.
yes it is for real
yeah the whole thing is actually an act-art
YES BUT SHE DID IT DECEPTIVELY SO SHE SHOULD BE JAILED FOR FRAUD!!! HER GENERATION NEED TO GET THE FUK OFF KZhead AND GET PROPER JOBS, WE HAVE AN ENTIRE GENERATION OF WASTERS!!!! THE WORLD IS FUKING DOOMED
